Its been hard to watch as you can see the man has exceptional character.

It has been hard to watch because he hasn't shown character.

I haven't seen him roll up his sleeves, demand the ball, drive at defenses, fly into tackles, surge into the box, wrestle with defenders, climb up for headers, unleash stinging shots from distance, punch the air determinedly, or galvanise players around him.

I would love it if we could get sneijder with this deal, even at 31 hes still good enough and my word, he would be a van der vaart esque signing, hes too good for galatasaray

While I have really wanted Bobby to succeed and cheered him on, there is something to be said for the lack of effort. El Ninio was an abject failure to Chelski but boy did he work his rear off for the team. And he never seemed to hide. Didn't get that feeling from Soldier. Seems to be a nice fellow but can't speak to that - would like to see him gone though. Never should have signed him.

I agree the most frustrating thing about watching him has been his mental weakness and inability to show the character to over come his decline in confidence

He's a grown man,very experienced and an established international who has had a great career in Spain

You'd really expect him to have the stones to over come adversity or at least fight hard to do so - instead he just seemed to shrink back in to his shell and became worse then every (to the extent where he couldn't even be relied on from the spot anymore)

We just need to put him out his misery- we need someone capable of producing for us and he needs to get away and play somewhere he can be the star and start enjoying his football once more
