Mind the gap. Bloody hell, it's still 10 points and frankly I can't see us making it up with the way we've been playing. However, I would rather Arsenal win the league than Chelsea or City. Is that wrong?

I have a funny feeling that your funny feeling is actually based on the fact that the scum have a couple of hard fixtures coming up :D

I reckon Liverpool will be a good chance to see how good we really are. We shouldn't be losing to them, but if we do, it will be easy to see where to improve.

And maybe this year the roles will reverse - after the new year, Arsenal will 'blow it' while we win every game in unstoppable title-winning form.

I have a funny feeling that your funny feeling of his funny feeling is right but both funny feelings will turn out to be rather silly feelings in a months time

Ugh it's just depressing that one of them will win the league. This should have been our season to challenge for it.

Out of those 3 I would probably prefer City followed by Arsenal then Chelsea.

Arsenal aren't our rivals this season though.

I don't really care about the gap unless we are above them, we finish below them every season so it's not like we're not used to it. Also I don't think our season should be rated on how closely we finish to arsenal.

I'm much more concerned with our regression into a barely top 6 quality side over the last 18 months. Our general malaise and fall in quality causes me much more concern than what the nomads might be doing.

That said I would rather anyone win the league than them, and would rather city over Chelsea as well. I'm hoping city go on a league winning run now. Obviously can't abide the thought if the scum winning it and don't want to see that **** Jose's smug face winning it either.

Arsenal are playing nice football and have lived within their means. Only the latter applies to us.

We all know what your thought process is Boris but the day I have to explain on a spurs forum why I don't want arsenal to win the league the world has officially gone mad!
They are our most hated rivals and no amount of pretty football or sensible spending changes this. Their fans are also a moronic bunch of idiots with whom I could wish no joy or success (however I am also starting to seriously question some of our own supporters mental state). This week alone I have witnessed yet more booing of substitutions at matches, people actually willing Fulham to score in the match thread & now someone actually having arsenal as their preferred winners of the league. A quiet admiration is one thing but preferred league winners .... Bloody hell.
Time to get out of this mad house & head off to bed I think.

Couldn't give a fuck about Arsenal at the moment, seriously. We need to worry about ourselves and if there's any teams to show concern over it's the likes of United, Liverpool and Everton at the moment. Fuck Arsenal for now.

Yeah, who cares about Arsenal now? We need to worry about ourselves right now, about the way we're playing and about trying to build some momentum. If you want to worry about Arsenal then at least wait until we're anywhere near them.

I get your point about Chelscum but I would have no problem whatsoever with Manchester City winning the league. If fact out of the likely candidates that is the best case scenario for me. I have no quarrel with any of the Manchester clubs especially when they are frustrating the ambitions of the Woolwich and Chelscum.

Gap. Stops your ears from sticking to each other. This isn't a Spurs Chat thread. This is a desperate negativity grenade launched in the wake of 3 points.

I actually think the problem with some of you is Arsenal. If they weren't top of the league then I think a lot more of you would be a bit calmer about our situation.

Arsenal have embedded a philosophy under a manager they have had for decades. We are building something from scratch and that takes time: a gift football fans (and the general public it seems) are far less willing to give.

I NEED IT NOW. MY TEAM SHOULD BE PLAYING WELL NOW.

Well, no, you don't need it now. And, no, the team needs the grace period to gel that I and a few others are willing to grant, you impatient teenagers. ;)

Hey, even if Arsenal win all their games, it still bodes well for us in terms of that we'd be moving up the table quickly with wins ourselves.

Fuckers played Jenkinson and Bendtner last night. 2 mins in Bender scores from a Jenkinson cross.

Ramsey's ball to Ozil... what a beaut. How I wish we could score like that.

Conversely, I bet sometimes they say "I wish we'd just have a go from 25 yards".

EQUALISATION GOALSHOT.
