I didn’t include 11 as that’s already been given to Erik.

We're not certain how Bale is going to fit into the team formation - now he's a bit older and not rampaging down the flanks like he might have done a few years ago, he may be playing further up the field in the same way Ronaldo has done. Imagine if he played in behind Kane with Son and Bergwijn out wide! Kinda how we wanted Dele to play when Jose first arrived at us.

Unlikely. Erik lamela has been a spurs player longer than Bale has, has more appearances too .
The disrespect would be well beyond the thunderdome

It's already been assigned to Lamela.

I think it would be very poor form to take the squad number of a player with 7 years' service after it's been announced, to give to a new signing, regardless of who they are
