All I will say is RM needs our blessing to sell him to someone else. Next thing, the leaks about 72 hours in Spanish propaganda tabloids, for us to match the offer is BS. We have that time to activate our set agreement etc. Don’t want to go further than that.

And I personally think you’re wise not to. His performance last night no doubt added a good few million to the asking price. The only way I see a deal happening is if the player himself takes a massive wage cut and Levy gets creative over paying the inevitably large transfer fee. I just can’t see it myself.

Thinking about the finances of a Bale return, wouldn't the media pay day be immense, or am I clutching at straws to find more reasons to make it real?

This guy single handily wins huge games. What he just did in the final will stay with me for years. Not one of our players and probably only Ronaldo in the world of football could have scored the goal he scored today, but to do it in the biggest club competition in the world, after barely touching the ball and being on the pitch for a few minutes.
All i could do is stand up and clap, he is the best Spurs player we have ever head, that one season before Madrid will never be matched by Kane, Eriksen etc. As match as i rate those players, Bale is a class above.
If there is any chance we can have him and buy only one player this window. It would have to be Bale. You can't seriously disagree with this.... It saddens me that he has to be in a team with Ronaldo where the world of football hasn't seen the true Bale these last few years. If he is at a club where the fans and manager love him, who knows what he / we could achieve. I know for one, with him in the team this year we would have won the FA Cup.
What an unbelievable player.

Last night he showed he has his pace, power and X factor, I don’t think there is anyone would not want that bale back, I think a lot of us worry we would spend big and on an injury prone has been, not the one man team destroyer we all loved and sold.
