Zidane seems to be back tracking a little, feels like they were relying on pushing him to China and Bale rightly dug his heels in.

There’s also the fact that Real Madrid are wracking up a few injuries and have a world class player floating around not being used due to “insert random reason here”...

But the cynic in me thinks that Zidane might simply be trying to use the injury situation to just sound like he is backtracking to gloss over his previous comments a little.

Those injuries may play into our/other interested club's favour. Zidane clear just doesn't want Bale for whatever reason. with MA out for the season and Diaz/Mendy both with medium term injuries, they may need to buy a player or two to strengthen. Getting Bale off the books to enable unanticipated purchase/wage costs could become even more urgent.

I think I'm suffering from some kind of amnesia in regards to the final. I know we got there and I can remember most of the things I did before the game like going out for a walk, having a pre-match curry, chatting in the match thread, etc, but I can only remember the first few seconds of the game up to the handball for the penalty. I can't remember anything after that. I can't even recall either goal going in. I think I've just blanked it all out.

Exactly the same. Don’t remember anything. Game is a complete write off. Sad really. I couldn’t tell you anything about the game.

Bale rejected that same move 3 or 4 days ago then a Madrid higher up cane out said its impossible for him to move there as the fee would be too high for a Chinese club(100% tax to gov’t on it). Possible this could be Madrid making another pass at pushing him out there though, i guess.
