We simply can't compete. Poch wants levy to back him this window but the prices are so crazy I fail to see who we can get in that wont cost the earth.

I don't feel anyone should be alarmed imo there are still diamonds out there, take Eriksen and Alli 15M for both....bloody unbelievable .

Winks hopefully can get fully fit, Onomah we are hoping unleashing he's undoubted talent, KWP and Foyth coming good. We can't compete toe to toe with fees but that doesn't mean we can't be competitive.

That's a crazy price. Not sure he's even an upgrade on the players they have already (Sane, Sterling, B. Silva) for the wide positions.

Nothing at all to do with what I posted. What does it matter if our rivals get their targets on the first day of the transfer window or the last? As long as we get our business done at some point it's irrelevant. Yet every single transfer window it's the same, as soon as one of our rivals gets a new toy, we get the same posters panicking. I get the impression there are some people just waiting for someone else to make a signing so they can throw toys and have a strop at the club. Hence the "Every season" comment. I just wish people would wait until the window has closed so we can see what business everyone has done before declaring we're being left behind.

The timing is important though, if you make your signings at the start of the window, its normally because you have got your 1st choice targets. The longer you leave it the more scrambling you tend to do

Doesnt need to be an upgrade, they're just adding to the squad so they can rest players without downgrading in quality.

Probably demanded his photos get released on a separate day with a grand fanfare.

we can't compete with Abu Dhabi FC - that is impossible.
Utd are too far ahead on commercial.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelski are the competition and I suspect that at the start of the season we will have a squad on par with Pool and better than the Arse/ Chelski

Meh. He kicks up a storm every year it seems like. He needs to be coddled and the spotlight on him at all times.

We haven't done very well in recent years at getting our primary targets though. Last year it was meant to be Zaha, Balde, Barkley, Pereira etc.. Not sure how long Poch will hang around if he doesn't get a few from the top of his list tbh.

Adidas don't use him for Kit releases as he's a Nike Sponsored player. Nothing in there at all. In all commercial shoots he only wears Nike gear.

Exactly my point. If City can afford to have a player that would walk into any other teams starting 11, as a rotation option, then what the hell can you do?
