Calm down lads, Liverpool have just spent £40m on the Brazilian Phil Neville.
Not even the best RB or DM for Brazil.

Yes it’s early doors, but let’s be realistic, we won’t be signing players in the class of Fabinho, Keita and Fekir this summer. Not if recent history is anything to go by anyway.

Every season ...
Liverpool have been better than us in the transfer marker in the last 1 or 2 seasons

As they have caught up from far behind to on par if not a slightly better season with a CL final not to mention they dont that whilst having the youngest PL team

Let's be honest, any player at the WC is unlikely to be 'released' by the national team to go and have medicals etc.

I'd say it's pretty nailed on that anyone going to the WC is unlikely to move until they're back from it, or their team is out
Before you get to the medical, you need to agree a fee, that seems to be the hurdle we struggle with

TBF sometimes not being the best Fullback for brazil may actually a good thing, remember gilberto silva:cry:

This is exactly my concern. Their transfer business has been ambitious and generally spot on over the past couple of years.

They've adapted to the changed transfer landscape of hyperinflation far better than Levy has, in my opinion.

Some of the noise coming from the club is that this is set to change this summer. I'm encouraged that we appear to be stepping things up in the transfer market, but until we start closing big money deals for elite talent as our rivals frequently do, I'll remain concerned that we're in danger of being overtaken by clubs with more ambition than ourselves.

In NK and Fabinho they have massively elevated their central midfield. It is better then ours now. Even if Henderson plays. Those two are very clever signings and actually, for 40 mil, Fabhino is excellent business. Fakir would be the icing tho as he is a very special talent. I genuinely feel he will become world class if he steps up with the right team. Him and Salah in the same squad would be horrible. He only bad thing about CL is how Liverpool lost, after that calamity in goal they will go out and throw money at a goalkeeper.
