Bale signed his mega deal in October 2016, a month before Ronalso so I would assume he would be demanding something similar.

Could be smoke and mirrors from Madrid to avoid spoiling their PR and Announcement that they usually do for big money signings. But more than likely just bored journos.

If anything I could see PSG or a Chinese team taking Ronaldo in return for Neymar/Mbappe, they are the only teams that could afford his wages bar City and United.

With City automatically ruled out and Woodward stating they will not try and bring Ronaldo home I can only see PSG or China as feasible in terms of his wage demands.
Maybe - I just don't see Neymar being worth £200m, never mind more. Same with Mbappe - it's like his value is based on what he'd be worth at his peak, not where he's at now.

I don't disagree about the ridiculous fees, but it's completely normal for fees for players with huge potential to take the latter into account. It would be crazy if they didn't.

I think both of their values are highly inflated as they are marketing and PR tools as well as being footballers. PSG were also desperate to get both in the door so they paid the premium required to secure the transfers and not the actual value of each player.

I can see Mbappe having a higher ceiling in football terms than Neymar, and he seems to be less inclined to the on field antics Neymar is being criticized for. If I were going to spend that amount on a player, it would be Mbappe without a doubt.

Lots of rumours in Italy, Marotta and Paratici flying to Madrid and Fiat doing a sponsorship deal to help fund Ronnie' wages :ROFLMAO:. Hope he does move, United fans crying salty wet tears.

Napoli announced Fabian Ruiz from Betis for his buyout clause of 30mil. We need to start swooping in on their CM deals. From everything I've seen and heard about he seems the type of player we should have been all over.

Granted, I'm not an expert, nor have I played FM or FIFA with any keen depth of knowledge, but I've certainly not had my head in the sand.

Nevertheless, it's a crazy time where madrid can pay £35m for someone, and I think "who the fuck is he?"

Let's hope he doesn't get stolen by a bunch of plucky cockneys.

I’m in Italy on hols and Italian tv are reporting that Juve are offering Ronaldo a 4 year contract at €30m per year Netto, that is €60m per year gross or €240m over the term of the contract. Add the fee of €100m and the cost per year to Juve is €85m. Staggering.

Sounds like Scandanavian for Value, to me.

Shitloads

Rather oddly he's on a lot less than you'd think. He's on like half of what Messi is on and apparently that's one of the issues he has at Madrid. It's still obviously a lot of money but given that he's widely accepted to be either the best or second best in the world you'd think he'd be on par with the highest paid in the game
