Think he's a really good player... There are bargains to be had in La Liga!

If they’re trading with each other. As soon as a premier league team wants a player then a whole loads more money is whacked on top of the price.

Real Betis just lost 2 really talented midfielders the last 2 years to their low release clauses, Sevilla now with Lenglet, hell Sevilla didn't even charge PSG for a ridiculous fee with Krychowiak. I don't know that there's a ton of evidence to that from the last couple of years is there? I'll gladly retract my statement but I don't think there's much price gouging from the lower teams in La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Serie A, its the top teams in those league that charge an arm and a leg cause they don't want to lose their guys... The premier league clubs are a different story.

I don't know who is worse Barcelona for bidding €50m for Willian who is soon to be 30, or Chelsea for rejecting it.

Much better value out there and if Barca wanted another Brazilian in a similar mould they may as well go for Malcom.

I've found their transfers to be a little strange to be honest. If I was a Barca fan, I'm not sure I'd be too happy at spending around £250m on Dembele and Coutinho and not to mention £36m on Paulinho as well.

Probably bad value on Dembele and Coutinho but those are two really good players. Paulinho on the other hand...

Everybody knew they had the Neymar money and were going to take them for a spin.

Paulinho's already away back to China...for a profit of about £10m at that!

Jean Michael Seri has gone to Fulham?

That's insane. Isn't he meant to be one of the best CMs in Europe? Why has no one else gone in for him??

I don't exactly think he's very top drawer but he's a damn good little footballer. If it wasn't for Nice trying to raise the price after a deal had been agreed, he'd have gone to Barca two summer's ago.

Yeah exactly, they need to fills the gaps. They're one of the teams I'll be most intrigued about next season. That first game against City is one I can't wait for. I really hope they lose and lose bad, even if I do really hope City show signs of weakness this season.

City will probably annihilate them and if they don't then it means Emery might have some potential.

I doubt Malcom has Willian's work ethic. Willian is such a brilliant player. So handy because he can be used in so many systems.

One thing’s for sure, the PL is going to be darn competitive next year. We’ve lost rubbish like WBA and Stoke, and got teams like Wolves, who have lots of quality, and Fulham, signing quality too.

Would rather play them than West Brom and Swansea tbh, those teams bar probably Cardiff are likely to be open rather than bank up and drop deep.
