Newcastle have snuck a few signings in, aside from Carroll will be interesting to see how the others get on.

Wasn’t Saint-Maxim a player Rafa wanted whilst he was coach there?

What's your take on GLC? Is he rated in Argentina?

Yes, he is. And I rate him very highly. I even recommended him in the scouting thread.
I know Dybala was the most exciting player, but GLC will have a bigger impact that what Dybala could've had imo

Just realised Leicester never replaced Maguire. They've made some seemingly excellent signings this summer, but I can't quite work out what their defence is going to look like without Maguire?

Yeah I thought they'd get Dunk. Brenton had Benkovic with him up at Celtic so may use him. Or maybe turn James Justin into a CB. They still use Morgan and Fuchs too although probably getting on a bit.

He plays for Senegal. Yeah, very good signing. He's absolutely lighting quick. Could be a real star for them.

I meant that he came from France, don't care about what national team really. We'll see if he's a Njie or better than that.

Arsenal have brought in Pepe, Tierney, Ceballos on loan and Martinelli. Saliba has signed but gone straight back out on loan.

Maybe I have Spurs tinted glasses but Ndombele, Lo Celso and Sessegnon joining a more settled team seems more exciting to me.
From Arsenal's perspective they have had a great window

Last season, it was their managers first season, they finished 1 point off four and he didn't have the team he wanted meanwhile their major weakness was the fact they conceded 51 goals in the premier league and scored the third highest. In the window they have signed a CB, DM, LB and a LW upgrade on Iwobi

We had a poor season in the league with us in relegation form after February but if we play like we did pre feb they shouldn't be anywhere near us
