It's a shame really, he and Madrid were a perfect match.Bet Ronaldo wanted to push through this move this week to pull some attention away from the World Cup.

Yeah, good for him for taking a challenge... of hoping Juve repeat for an 8th time in a row.Im glad ronaldo has gone to juve. Going for that serie A title instead of taking it easy in china or USA.

Then again if they win 2 Champions Leagues in that time then it's great business.Someone said earlier in this thread that it's likely to cost Juve €85mill every year when you factor in transfer fee and wages. Pretty ridiculous when you consider he's 33 and may only have another two or three years at a world class level. Could end up being an incredibly poor decision from them...
I agree mate, but i hope they don't because i think that'll be funny ?Then again if they win 2 Champions Leagues in that time then it's great business.
Even the kit argument doesn't make sense. There's no way Juventus will even make a quarter of his transfer fee.

I think it's been done to death on this site in the past but basically clubs only get a very small portion of shirt sales profit - something like 10% (That's an educated guess). Every man and his dog in all of western Europe would have to get a RONALDO 7 Juve top in order for them to make a profit on buying him and tbh i can't see my neighbour's dog, Trevor, wearing it come SeptemberWhy not? He's the big profile Italian Serie A lacks and Juventus is a pretty big club
Not sure any team could really afford this deal without some creative accounting - which is why Serie A makes a lot of sense...Huge signing for Juve and Italian football.
Really surprised that Utd weren't all over this considering their MO in recent years.

So, the Ronaldo thing that wouldn't happen, happened
Genuinely thought it was a joke link at first - made no sense to me. Really interested to see how it pans out.
Mahrez to Man City is official.
Reckon he’ll be Southampton’s number 1 soon. He’s pretty good.Southampton buy Angus Gunn for £13.5 million. For a fucking reserve goalie. Football has gone mad, it really has.
