Got an email from a mate saying it's on Italian tv. It may just be their equivalent of SSN I don't know. It was reports of a deal, rather than just interest, by the sound of it.

I'll check when I get home, its probably SportItalia24 and it is as reliable as SkySportsnews, i.e. they report newspaper rumours as fact.

The reason I was curious is because there was the report with Beckenbauer saying they would love to have him there and that he was a 'perfect player' in the paper yesterday. Nothing in the papers today though and I've not seen any rumours on the italian websites, which would be very strange if it was actually done.
