I can't access NewsNow ATM but I recall an article saying our Brazilian was looking forward to playing on Sat - hope it's true :)

I was wondering what our side will look like for the Brum game.

I don't care as long as we exact crushing retribution for a pretty dumb home defeat.

Yeah, I'm excited to see him play though. Wonder who will feature in the rest of the squad. Also, I was remembering some of Gareth Bale's performances early in the year. He'd be such a boost for us right now when we need someone to attack at either LB or LM. That boy could get up and down the pitch.

It will be nice to see him have a run. I'm very interested to see how his legs are in England. Germany is not a bad place to transition from as the Bundesliga is one of the fastest outside the Prem, but still he's 31 and that's not the best age to join the league.

We should be looking to beat them in style after the poor home defeat earler this season, though I worry that we won't play that well and be brought down to earth after the cup final.

I thought there was a sign at the training ground that points all our LBs straight to the Physio Room never to be seen again....

Seriously, it'll be great to see a left-footed LB play for us for the first time since about October. It'll also be great to see Brazil's first choice LB pulling on a Spurs shirt.

It could well be a case of 'after the Lord mayor's show'

But what happens next Thursday is foremost in my mind, I feel we must look to get a 2 goal cushion to take to PSV.

I don't expect to see berba, Leds, lennon and maybe even JJ on Saturday.

Hope so. I look forward to seeing this guy play.

Yeah. Me too, and hope to see Taarabt get more of a run in the league now the pressure is off. Good chance to blood a few players now Europe is in the bag.

that game was perhaps the lowest point of the season.

on top of the embarrassing defeat, we lose bale for the season. fouled by a guy that keane was sent off for fouling himself.

Hi Legend - I'd expect Berbs JJ & Lennon to play -

but rest Keano and Chimbo as they've had recent injuries - and King not to play is a certainty

You could be right DC

One thing is for sure and that is that PSV are going to be a very hard nut to crack, they are 9 points clear in Holland and are in good form. We need to win well next Thursday as they are going to be very tough in Holland.

now we have guarenteed euro football next year i would like a chance to look at some of the fringe and youth players a bit, it would be nice to see gilberto against brum (if fit) and also maybe a cameo of pekhart or soem of the other nippers

you're 100% right - PSV are gonna be tough tough tough -

it's just the players will have had 6 days rest (and partying :) by the Brum game - so should be rested enough - except those carrying knocks strains etc

still as ever in JR I trust - whatever team he picks - that's the right one :)

I think we'll be fine :)

This season could be the lowest points total needed in Premiership history to survive, as the mid to upper table sides don't seem to be dropping points to the bottom sides as much as in other seasons. 3 more wins and we'll be definitely safe.

Sorry, disagree totally about this taking it easy in the league and giving fringe players like Taarabt a run in the side. We took just eight points from our last six games, which, frankly, isn't good enough, and I'd imagine Juande sees it that way too. We've got six very winnable games coming up and I want us going all out for maximum points.
