Gio just scored one and created 2 goals in Mexico's 4-0 win in the Gold Cup. Are we really letting him go?

It was against Panama.
Yes...and?

You never question people that worship players like Obika, Rose etc. They've mostly played in the reserves.

Recently someone mentioned how awsome Glen Johnson was against Andorra....

Possibly because I haven't noticed too many people worshipping Obika and Rose.

SS57 - could you at least take the time out to watch the video please. The game was against Haiti.

His goal was class, regardless of the opposition, yes he got more space than perhaps against a better team, but the finish and strike itself was what makes it a good goal.

As for the two assists, well they were both corners, but he took them both with his left foot.

It does seem a bit silly us bidding for Young, when GDS could be as good a player as him.

He didn't have the best of first seasons with us, but then he never got a proper run in the team in a proper position.

I really hope we hold on to him and give him a shot at LW.

Oh, right. Really stiff opposition, then.

Very well taken goal n 2 assists from the corner.

I will be sad if we really do let him go.

2 Left footed corners. Sweet. Given time to mature he and Bale would have terrorized the left wing.

Didn't say it was, just would be nice if you bothered to check out the goals before making comments on them.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how crap the opposition are, you can still judge technical brilliance despite that, and his shot was technically very, very good.

Podolski was very impressive against Liechtenstein. Should we put in a bid for him on that basis? As far as I'm concerned international performances are no basis whatsoever for signing players.

Him scoring and creating hat fulls of goals since he went on loan supports a positive argument for GDS.

...what does that have to do with a player we already own?
