Haven't seen this mentioned but Glenn Roeder has passed away age 65. My first Spurs match was the 1982 Cup Final against QPR (first match) and he was their captain that day. For some reason I remember them interviewing him after the match and I recall him having a great game. Funny how some memories stick with you (I was 8 years old). He always came a cross as a thoroughly decent chap.

Always seemed like a very decent guy, remember the original diagnosis and very sad it returned, 65 still far too young. RIP.

In football it’s not often you like a player/manager that never represented your club. Roeder was that type of guy. RIP.
