Like a bus 3 have come along at once. Pav's goal against Chelsea, Rafa's goal against Villa and Bales goal against the barcodes have all been nommed for GOTM, I presume the last two, especially VDV, are for the build up rather than the actual finish, as good as it was.

Pretty tough to put any of them ahead of Nasri's imo unfortunately, but Bale's and VDV's are both real class! It's just great to see 3 Spurs goals in there.

Nasri's was a great solo effort but I always prefer a good team goal

Pretty poor month overall... Either van der Vaart or Baird should win...

Bale's goal was exeptional, it was from such a difficult angle and a great counter. (ignoring Lukas clear trip on carroll)

Slightly out of topic, Tevez's goal last night was a brilliant individual goal. Definitely a candidate for this month's GOM.

As for last month, Bale wins IMO

Whose GOTM is this? BBC? Sky? Prem League?

I've looked on BBC & PL, no mention of it there, do i assume it's on Sky Sports?

Then why don't they mention it on their site? Closest i can find is a video of Football Focus from a few days ago and the only MotD on iplayer is the West Ham/Brum cup game - guess it's something they're trying to keep low profile

They're not allowed to show MOTD on iPlayer.

Baird should win goal of the month. Poor selection of goals.

Yeah, when I try to keep something quiet I just slyly broadcast it on national TV to several million viewers who have a keen interest in the subject...
I wasn't home and, with MotD being their flagship football coverage as you pointed out, you'd think it'd be something they'd make available online.

Seems not.

Match of the Day has never been available online due to their deal with the EPL/Sky/ESPN... I always assumed this was common knowledge?!

WEBSITE/RED BUTTON ALTERNATIVES

WHY ISN'T MATCH OF THE DAY OFFERED ON iPLAYER/ON DEMAND ON THE WEBSITE/AS A VIDEO PODCAST?
Both Match of the Day and Football Focus are simulcast on the website every weekend - but we can't currently offer the programme on demand throughout the week or on iPlayer because the BBC don't have the rights to show Premier League action on the web outside of live broadcasts.
However, MOTD2 will be available on BBC iPlayer every Wednesday for five days from the start of the 2010/11 season.
Find out how to watch Match of the Day on the BBC Sport website here.
If you are experiencing video and audio problems on the BBC Sport website, check the FAQs here.

WHY CAN'T YOU PUT THE SHOW ON THE RED BUTTON, OR OFFER LONGER EDITS OF EACH MATCH ON THE RED BUTTON?
Sky bought the UK rights to interactive coverage of the Premier League so we are unable to offer either a repeat, or longer edits or analysis of individual games, via the red button.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FOOTBALL FOCUS VIDEO PODCAST?
The Focus podcast was part of a BBC-wide video podcast trial which has now come to an end. The BBC are using the results of the trial to decide how to proceed. We will be making a decision on our next steps later in the year.
