Don't know if it's been posted before - but worth a look I reckon - I've just checked a few of the pics - memories like the corner of the Shelf, misty golden memories of the way we were -

most of them are in black and white though - often gives a greater sense of poignancy

yeah its a good one that. I think it was linked to the site used for the campaign for his knighthood.

Wonder what he would make of this summers activity?

Hi Waresy :) who knows what he'd make of the transfer market these days - but he'd have acted with the same unswerving loyalty to the club that he always did

He was, and is, Mr Tottenham.

I went to his testimonial against Fiorentina. And the noise when he came onto the pitch was amazing. There is no-one, not one person, who even comes close to defining what being Spurs is all about. Even four years after his passing, his legacy still overshadows everything we are, have, and do with Spurs.

Whether we win or lose, we do it with a grace and style that is inimitably Tottenham and inimitably Bill Nicholson. He has a part in every victory and in every moment of glory and long may that legacy continue.

well said Rez :)

I was there for the Bolton game on the day we'd heard he died - it was a real chill through the veins time.

Mr Tottenham - Bill Nicholson - No-one else comes close.

Doesn't get the recognition he deserves outside Spurs in my opinion. What he achieved was incredible and it was a great shame he was never knighted

Just looked at a few of the pics and had forgotten what a big bloke Bobby Smith was. One of his thighs = both of Greavesie's. And dangerous-looking too. If he wasn't a footballer, could've been an enforcer for the Krays.
