I think I most enjoyed the pompey game

there's been a lot of pompey fans on the 606 board digging into us big time since Harry left them

can't say how much I'll love it if they go down

and with Campbell as captain and Adams as manager (though I've nowt against TA actually - but still he did us a lot of damage over the years)

even sweeter

pompey stoke and rovers/boro to go down would be my preference

Although that is good, there seems to be a bit of a gap emerging with the teams above us.

The scum game is a must win.

Oh and the pool game was really good, funny to see other teams crumble against late goals.

Aye. As depressing as it is, it is important that the teams below us drop points, especially when we're going in to a huge game tomorrow. If we win, I honestly think it could be the boost we need to finally inject some positivity in to the team. If we lose, I fear we'll be fighting 'till the end.

I don't think the thread title is depressing at all - it's really good news what happened today

and the pompey game particularly was very enjoyable

we're in a relegation fight - of course we need to get points but we also need those below us to drop them

some people on here a few weeks back (and even more recently I believe) thought we would need 44/45 points to stay up - i never did

I don't think we have 45 points in our locker this season, but I think we do have 40/42 and that will be good enough if the bottom teams carry on with their current form

The fact that it's good news for us is pretty sad.

Two seasons ago we wouldn't have given a cheese crumpet what was going on at the bottom of the table

I found the Pompey game marginally more enjoyable than England collapsing against the Windies. Good result for us, but a draw would have been pretty much as good. That clown Benitez lucks in again.
