Acording to the BBC news (94.9) - After footage was shown of Ashley downing a pint in the stands at the last Toon match, on MotD, he's been questioned by police who have politely reminded him that it is illegal to drink alcohol in view of the pitch, after someone complained :lol:

If that's not funny enough, the club have released a statement claiming he thought it was a "non-alcoholic beverage" :rofl:
