Theres no way they would be getting rid of every established coach we have unless they have someone lined up ready to come in asap

Why did I read that like you were trying to convince yourself, Adam? :?

I am decidedly less upset about this than I was about Martin and Chris.

But it truly has been a night of the long knives.

To be honest, im pleased to see the back of the lot of them and do have a bit of faith in the board, as much as that sentiment is disagreed with on here. In its basest elements, we have played shite this season with the wrong players consistently being played and i cant take the depression anymore and am looking forward to a change.

I fully respect anyone that loves Jol as he was a great guy but we're only humans so are obviously gonna disagree with each other-i think we'll now be better off looking at this year as a 28 game season under a completely fresh management regime-im very happy to admit im wrong if it all goes pear shaped, but 7 points from 10 games is appaling, and i dont think the manager can be blameless in that to be honest.

Oh I can totally see that point of view.

But when I read it, I read it as if you were saying "they wouldn't sack everyone without getting replacements .... would they?!?!? :shifty:"

That sort of thing.

Because that would mean that our season has some future and the board hasn't made some of the most terrible decisions ever in one evening

Levy: "Daniel, can I see you in my office for a bit"
Levy: "Yes, Daniel, no problem"
Levy: "Daniel, I'm not quite sure how to say this, but I need to move things on, and I need to ask you to step down"
Levy: "Daniel, I fully understand this, and therefore tender my resignation"
Levy: "Thank you Daniel, I hope you accept this yacht and Harrier jet as compensation"
Levy: "Many thanks, it's been a pleasure working with you Daniel"
Levy: "The feeling's mutual, Daniel. Much love".

 fabulous.

however, I wasn't implying anyone would 'ask' daniel levy to step down.

Ye thats fair enough, and if you're already edgy about the board (as you clearly are!) then i dont blame you for thinking that! As im too young to have seen hoddle play i could never really appreciate him as a legend and was therefore pleased to see him (and 3-5-2) gotten rid of and am again satisfied with what the board have done with jol, and i dare say that if there was no previous rumour about ramos and it was done in a more proffesional manner people would be less upset about him going? Obviously that is a massive if but im at the stage now where all i want is to see a scoreboard with spurs having scored more goals than the opposition with a number 90 next to it and at the present time simply couldnt see it happening for a while, especially when you take the manner of the performance yesterday into account.

He was the best person at keepie uppies at the whole club .

And the precision with which he kicked balls at the keeper during warm up was machine like

an decison i agree with. Robbob has regressed season on season after moving away from working with Nigel Martin.

More signigficatntly in my eyes is that a massive clearout like this strongly indicates a full management and coaching team has already been put in place.

becasue if they have not then our board are even more of a shambles that i thought.
