Harry refused to answer his phone to Talksport this morning.....

He's going chaps....

Maybe he was washing his ball sack

Or having elderly sex with Sandra

Or eating his breakfast

Or dunkin donuts with Abramovich

I think levy should be ruthless and sack him to bring in carlo and stay on your feet

Harry has done a GREAT job for us but now we need to kick on further

if he goes so does VDv and modric at the very least probably more

No chance - Levy will get it written into the compensation package that they can't, just like happened with Arnesen.

Absolute rubbish, Modric was bought in before Harry arrived and VDV was bought in by Levy over Harry's head

Indeed. Many predicted Modric would leave because Ramos went and he wouldn't want to play for an uncultured manager like Redknapp.

Maybe. But if Harry leaves, there's a strong chance that Modric would want to leave. And we know that we can't hang onto players who want to leave.

Not really. Ancolotti loves Modric - he was desperate to sign him for Chelsea. He's also a very good man manager (as well as being a tactician) - the players will really like him.

I really don't think there is anything in this as none of the major new agencies are reporting this "story". If there was even a chance of Harry going to the chavs I'd imagine ssn would be all over this story like a bad rash! I haven't really watched ssn this morning but what I have seen they haven't even mentioned anything about this "story".

And I'm sure Ramos loved Berbatov.

I've got to agree with SP - If Harry goes then the determining factor of how many players follow him out the door will be the reputation of his replacement. If we were to bring in a Jose, Carlo, or Guus we would probably be OK. If we were to bring in an Avram we might be looking for a whole new squad.

And I'm sure Ramos loved Berbatov.

Modric does not appear to be the Berbatov type, Modric is loved by his team mates whereas Berbatov was cold and aloof and preferred feeding his squirrells than bonding with the team.

Modric doesn't have a greedy tosser like Danchev as his agent either

Him and Berbatov are like chalk and cheese I am not worried

Let it go Dan. Harry isn't leaving. Not this Summer anyway.

Really don't think Harry is going anywhere. Wouldn't really be too bothered if he did so long as the replacement was good quality (Ancelotti + Wilkins please) but don't really think there is any chance of him leaving...

Harry's price is on the drift folks. This was a case of the bookies talking up a rumour to cash in. It takes very little money to move this market and I wouldn't be at all surprised if this was a case of the bookies fuelling rumours themselves because the dogs in the street seem to know that Hiddink is taking the job!! A few of us are acting like we are going to get dumped and reacting accordingly. I personally wouldn't care if Herbert Chapman was our manager and communicated via Eileen Drewery as long as we win things and finish top four!

Apart from the Hiddink bit I'd say that was spot on.

Van Basten is favourite now with most bookies. Looks like Dan Ashcroft and his jaundiced army of Harry haters will have to wait until 2012 or until a guilty verdict before they can start messing their pants.

I've said this and I've hear it a bit in this thread "Levy is ruthless"

People use it at a reason for him to can Harry now.

While he is ruthless, he is not stupid. He has a man under contract that has saved him from relegation and has given him 4th and 5th. Why would chance uncertainty unless he had to. Keep our squad, get in some fresh blood and Harry will challenge top 4 again. Yes, he will have to slap away a few of Harry's zanier transfer requests, but I imagine he can handle it.

If Harry leaves, I trust Levy has contingency plans at this point. But no need to act on them and leave us in a year of transition when could fall to the bottom of the top 6 if we don't get this right. And to fair, I'm never one to discount Everton either.

Think of it this way, Harry leaves next summer. If he leaves us after a top four finish, we are in a much stronger position, than if he leaves us in 5th with Liverpool strengthening right now.

If Harry chooses that, then we deal. And in that case, today is better than mid July.
