Green light to drinking, red light to getting drunk. Very sensible policy. I want players at Spurs to be treated like adults. What's the point of having any other policy?
Do you have any other obvious facts you want to share?
Harry can ban booze. You are just talking nonsense about the logistics of it being physically impossible to stop anyone from doing anything.
Did Hud take Ramos to court because he banned ketchup?
Harry even said if he had to go the route of breathalyzing players then so be it. HR flip flopping does not proove you right that he is powerless.
Pro athletes are NOTHING like every day people. Legal over the counter cough medicines can result in bans and fines. And the police are not the ones doing the fining.. Self governing entities that have enough red tape, clauses and power to tell a player "you are not allowed to drink".
I'm getting called an idiot because i don't want players to drink at all during the season?
Complete overreaction.
Please think about what I'm saying...is eating chocolate biscuits illegall? Is drinkng alcohol illegal? Is shooting up heroin illegal?l
Can you see the difference? Can you see which of those examples the club could object to and which is none of their business?
Harry said: "I've no problem with people having an occasional drink but if you can't have a drink and behave yourself... if you have to get drunk, you shouldn't be drinking.
"I don't want players going out to nightclubs, getting drunk and misbehaving.
btw this thread and is complete and utter fail. its basically five pages of ppl telling gibbs why is wrong and gibbs saying the same things over and over again.
This is the last I will say on it:
Harry said a ban of booze after Ledley.
Now Harry said players can drink.
And it looks like I am in the minority that I don't want players drinking at all after recent results. That is fine. But calling this thread complete and utter fail is overcompensating for gawd knows what.
I'm just here to update you people on a topic that made HEADLINES all last year.
Gibbsy, you must be pissed, Arry said two points from eight games, not two pints.
