I read the other day at his current rate he'd need 480 games to match Greaves 266 goals. Greaves did it in 380 I believe.
I think for Kane to be our all time top scorer he'd have to stay at Spurs for life, stay injury free and for us to stay at the top end of the league.

just great for a "one season wonder" times 3.

It was class when the fans sang that one yesterday, pure class

Does anybody else get annoyed that the only stats that count anymore are only from the Premier League era? Is that when football started? Sky really do put their own spin on things and it seems to become gospel.
Aside from our own history and long line of stat compiling legends all the cack at the weekend about Lukaku becoming Everton's all time leading scorer above Duncan Ferguson..... with 60 goals, WTF! what about Dixie Dean, the guy scored 60 league goals in a single season!! (I just checked wiki and scored 349 goals for Everton in 399 games!) /rant

Sorry.... that's rankled me for a while now *breathes

I was really puzzled by this when they kept going on about it. I was sure he hadn't scored that many. Jesus there must be plenty of players who scored over 60 goals for Everton.

Didn't Dixie Dean score over 60 in one season?
