Are you asking people to 'defend' something that hasn't happened, likely won't and is probably bullshit?
I think so. The hatred of Levy for some is that they will 100% believe every bit of negative media bullshit in order to have a go.

Not sure if this is posted but a beautiful tribute from Harry’s wife.

Kate Kane does come across as just a loving, supportive human being, so much more class than the majority of footballers other halves who wouldn’t have ever gone for those blokes when they were nobodies in all probability. None of the adoration between them seemed staged for the ‘gram’ like with so many others.

Yes, they have known each other since school.

James & Martial for Kane

How is Levy fanatics going to spin this as postive?
There is no way in hell Levy ever accepts that. He’d be so insulted, he wouldnt even pick up their call ever again. The price for Kane isnt going to change. Levy will want in upwards of £200m for him. James & Martial wouldnt even go for half that.

Before the Euros, Covid seemed to set the price because clubs didn't have as much to spend.

Now, we are likely to find that Harry Kane's form during the Euros means he's effectively priced himself out of a move (if that is indeed what he wants), his profile was high enough as it was, now it's gone through the roof. What's the figure now? 100m is an insult.

£150m just to come to the negotiating table IMO.

I genuinely think Levy would now be looking at near £200m to even tempt him into selling.

If he wins golden boot & the tournament, the figure should be 250m. He’ll become known as Sir Harry Kane & that DEFINITELY counts for something.

If he isn’t, he should be. I wouldn’t answer the phone for less than 200, let alone enter negotiations.

If England wins the euros do people think that Harry may be more willing to stay?

Or will it have the opposite effect and he'll have even more of a desire to leave in order to win more things?

More willing to stay? Doubt it. He wants out. But he’ll have priced himself even further out of a move.

Could go either way depends how he thinks and what he values most.

They have a nice house and life now and he’s playing for his boyhood club who his family also support, the motivation to break the clubs all time scoring record will be massive.

He’s also also said he’s a country over club man (rare so fair play) so winning Euros as England captain would pretty much compete his career/life so he may think now he’s done that he can stick it out at Spurs and mabye nick a domestic trophy between now and end of his career.

Or he’ll get a taste for it and want to move to e.g. city but that would mean moving house with his wife and young kids and he’s a real family man so what means more to him, stable comfortable home environment and playing for boyhood club and winning euros as England captain OR move up north for example, new house and area and win more trophies to add to the euros.

If I was him it would make me more likely to stay at Spurs tbh but who knows.

Agree.

Would be absolute minimum £150m now and who is going to pay that so it’s his own fault haha, if he really wanted to move he should’ve kept playing for England like he does for us in August rather than hitting form just at the right time ?

So many factors that make a transfer this summer very unlikely, I think it's reasonable to assume that he will stay for at least another season.
