Fair question. What do you think they should have said?
It’s embarrassing how some fans have reacted to this whole saga when the club and Kane have officially said nothing
so quick to lay judgements based on what “ITK’s” have seemingly heard. Utterly shameful.
Harry is one of our own
Very rarely you see a more punchable face.
Agree. IF there was a promise it would have been along the lines of "Give us another year and we'll let you go if we get an acceptable offer". Now if the Clown Brothers didn;t understand what he meant by acceptable offer that's on them.
The Neville interview is even more damning now;
GN: "Do you think you are at that crossroads now where you have to talk to the chairman about your future? How do you think that conversation will go?"
HK: "Yeah I think so. I don't know what that conversation will be like, he might want to sell me if he gets £100m for me. But in the end its up to me and its about whats best for me and my career. I don't want to have regrets when I retire"
Fair question.
They said nothing which is exactly what I would have done initially. The difference is they said nothing for too long.
Given they can't say "he's staying" because that would be a deceit, and they can't say "he's leaving" because that trashes their negotiating position, if it was me, then on Wednesday I'd have said "Kane has requested to extend his break and the club has agreed and expects him to return to training (or isolation if anybody can figure the rules out) on Saturday. "
I've not actually bothered to watch the interview but did Neville actually say that it might be nearer to 200m?Agree. Of course he will perform. If anything it may drive him on to up his game to win the fans back. He’s not the type to drop his head. The world’s best striker doesn’t want to play for us any more.
I think it’s somewhat delusional to think that, if he doesn’t move, he will perform at the same level he has done in the previous seasons.
He may be a professional, but his head has been turned and once that happens it’s ultimately game over.
FWIW, he may still be here when we play City, but come 1st September I don’t think he will,
I've not actually bothered to watch the interview but did Neville actually say that it might be nearer to 200m?
So he hasn't been unprofessional?
Then why did you sign a Six year contract with no release clause….because with three years to go, it’s not up to you and you may have regrets….Agree. But that would be lying. We didn't agree.Fair question.

Who said they haven't? Kane says they have.Apparently they haven't though, so that's a deceit too?
Harry, meet Levy.
