I'm calling the newspaper headline when he signs in case no one else has:

"Cityzen Kane"

Who pays me?
I wrote this in March:

The pun ‘Cityzen Kane’ just dawned on me and now I’m worried he’ll be off to City this summer on that basis alone.

And then The Star did this 2 months after my post:

I WANT MY MONEY

Isn't their nickname The Citizens, anyway, making the y slightly redundant and inelegant?

Otherwise, top marks.

An enhanced salary deal till 33 with a buyout of £80-100m active next summer seems the most logical solution all round. Also incentivises Kane to keep up top form if he wants a move.
Perhaps a release clause that is lower if we do get into the CL? And higher if we don't achieve it. Then at least the CL money helps with the loss.

What an earth is going on? Why aren’t the club releasing anything of him training (even on his own) why hasn’t he released anything else ?

I'm reliably informed all our media staff have spent the whole day digitally adding Bryan Gil in old Beatles concert videos.

No time to do any other media duties

In the build-up to his first game against us:
‘Spurs in for a Kane-ing’

When he scores against us:
‘Spurs get Kaned’ (or) ‘Kane Pain for Spurs’

When he gets close to Shearer’s record:
‘Kane he do it?’

I’m here all week. (Try the curry.)

Romano latest video summed up by a user on reddit -

- City not giving up for him. Still hoping for him to join.

- Levy wants to offer a new contract.

- Levy won't let him leave

- Next week should be the final week in the saga

- Tottenham looking at many strikers in case Kane leaves.

- Tottenham believe they can change Kane's mind

- "my feeling is if Harry Kane will push next week, they need to make a decision"

- From what I know, the first offer was 100% no. Not open to anything.

Following the most informative (yet again) post from @Trix (number 39193 on page 1960) regarding the decision making process and individual involvement for the future of Harry Kane I am learning more and more about Mr. Daniel Levy and how he operates. It is fairly obvious to me now that whilst I have a relatively good knowledge of Mr Paratici and his modus operandi my views and opinions of our Chairman are based on a much more restricted amount of data and experience than those enjoyed by both the ITK section and forum members.

It's a lesson well learned. It takes nothing to post one's outlook on a subject and declare your views as being factual (as far as you are aware) but it takes a little bit more to admit you were perhaps wrong and retract that opinion.
I shall cut myself a large slice of humble pie and when it comes to the subject of Daniel Levy take an observer's role in the future.

I know it's not likely, but god I hope we stuff those fuckers on Sunday.

Yep I think we're probably all thinking the same.

Am I the only one on here who's concerned about Kane being there in any capacity on Sunday, though?

The THFC faithful are a passionate bunch, and I can't help but feel they'll be making their feelings known if they set eyes on him. But seeing the positive vibe within the camp recently, I'm concerned that a negative atmosphere in the stadium could have a direct impact upon the players who do give a shit.

It's going to be a hard enough game as it is, even if we had a fully on-board Kane leading the line. It's supposed to be a new, fresh start for the whole club. I can't help but feel the players are bound to be affected if that fresh start is blighted by a (potentially) hostile atmosphere in their first outing of the season.

Going to be gutted if I don't see Big Bang Theory scenes with Gil digitally imposed as Howard.

First game back with a full stadium is going to be absolutely bouncing. We've got a great record against them at the new stadium too. .

I think the atmosphere should be pretty good regardless of Kane and, based on what I've read if he's in the squad or is involved in some capacity, the boos will quickly be drowned out by the cheers.

I agree that this is a difficult situation. I trust Nuno to do a good job on it. It's his first home match and it means a lot to him. I reckon he'll pick whomever he thinks will win it and will take everyone's fitness and effort into account and nothing else. Supporting you, Nuno. Do us proud, mate.

Ties in with the info we've had from ITKs this week.

If City pay the price he goes, if not he stays, Kane has already played his 'push' card by all accounts.

Interesting that the Man City main ITK has been quiet since Sunday. Maybe they were banking on us caving in to part-ex deals.
