If Harry stays here this window, I hope we put out a scathing statement on City's conduct to unsettle Kane and our team and that we are lodging a complain to the FA. Enough of this horseshit

Er. Shall we put one out about Kane’s conduct as well then. I mean there’s showing leg and then there is Kane. Flashing his mangina around. Kane is as much if not more to blame.

Just he'd be more than happy if window closed today and he went into season with what he currently he has.
Of course he will say that, it’s part of their negotiating stance. They just need to pay up if the want him, I’m genuinely interested to know how Kane thinks about them not valuing him at the right value. Saying that he probably doesn’t care so long as he gets the move.

If he stays with us? Absolutely not. At that point it's water under the bridge and it's on Kane's team to repair his image.

I still want him gone. Surely City will raise their bid to £150m in desperation. They'll easily claw that £25m or so back if they win the PL and CL.

I think this is what will probably happen. Anyone who thinks that Levy won't hold back the sale of Kane till the last minute to get the best price, even if we means we are strikerless till January, hasn't been paying attention.
I thought after the City result Levy will take that as an indicator we're good enough without Kane, stop all incomings. Cheerio Kane lol.

I think he is staying this is just based on the calibre of the players we are now being linked to compared to the beginning of the transfer window. Seems we have switched from ready made players to young upcoming types similar to when we signed bale.

Anyone else starting to feel that he is staying?

Just really struggling to see it happening with the time left in the window. Don't get me wrong I know City could just drop the money at any point but I just don't feel like it will happen.

I know twitter posts and training videos are not proof of anything. I just think if either Harry or the club thought it was going ro happen they don't get posted.

Wasnt the deadline for a acceptable bid today?

I seriously would tell city to fuck off now even if they bid what we wanted as left it far too late.

I think he could stay but purely on city don't normally waste time if they want someone badly enough. That said I don't buy into no sell if deadline passes because if they offer 160+ in last hr of deadline day, Levy will take regardless of other tw business. He's got history.

Yeah but going by respected itk, we have deals virtually done and awaiting trigger being pulled. So I'd say anything could happen on deadline day or its eve with Kane. Bloody risky tho.

Yeah and it would be insane not to. We can make it 2-3 months without imploding if Kane leaves. We've made it for months just fine with him injured.

some might laugh at this, but imagine you’re the england captain getting a 150m move and they let a guy who couldn’t get a game for the country you captain take YOUR number. you’d be fuming too!

it is a massive part of branding, and without looking too much into it, it feeds into the narrative that by letting grealish have that number, maybe they don’t want kane as badly as they say they do in the media (and to harry).
Nah he’ll just take 66. HK66.

To play devil's advocate, we could have a bid come in today but that doesn't mean he would leave today (or even that we'd find out). For all we know they may want it hush-hush until we wrap up our deals for replacements. We absolutely won't know 100% that he's staying until the window closes.

I still think he will leave. It's his one and only chance. I think through his brother, Citeh will make the bid of figures required, but only at the later stage of the window just to fuck us abit. So this is likely to go down to the wire. Levy seems to me will still take the money ignoring the little time left to make proper replacements, if they are not already made before Kane leaves. Levy is still Levy.

The thing is that when he is healthy, opposing team's game plans have to center on stopping him first. We can do all right without him, but his presence still creates space and time for other players making them better players. It's especially true when he drops into that space behind the front line which is the no man's land for defenders. I'm of the mind sell him if they meet the price by the deadline but its called a deadline for a reason. If today is the day, i'd welcome the 160m but also would be happy if he stays. i'm not sure we lose even if he is sulking for a bit because at the end of the day, he is one of the most driven players in all football. And I rather suspect that Nuno's calming personality would be helpful if HK respects Nuno's tactical approach to the game.

Attention to what? I assume you are referring to what happened 13 years ago with Berbatov?

Well we haven’t sold any major player since Walker and Eriksen, who left with time to spare. Bale left and was replaced beforehand, even if it didn’t work. So I presume all the ‘it’s happening again’ people are referencing the Berbatov incident of 2008, 13 years ago ?
