Yes because the "Team" has won 2 difficult PL games without him. I wouldn't drop anyone for him just yet until he's got match fitness up.

So we just set the precedent we drop someone for him because he sent a tweet? That's just going straight back to overly relying on him again and solves nothing.
He played 20 mins on Sunday, so match fitness is fine.

You said to rest him for next few matches to teach him a lesson.

Talk about changing your messge

Amazing news!! So happy!! The fact that it’s happened 6 days before the window closure and not after is also sweet. Now to take the boys back to Spurs Shop to have “Kane 10” printed on the back of their shirts.

They really thought we would bend over and let them take our best player like we were Arsenal. Hahahahahaa
They seem to have genuinely convinced themselves that THFC are teetering on the brink of complete financial ruin, so would have no choice but to accept whatever City decided they wanted to pay for Kane on deadline day.

You seem to be taking this very personally. Sorry that it seems to have touched a nerve where you resort to spamming someone for an opinion different to yours.

He's played 20 minutes all pre- season until now. He's clearly not match fit and thinking otherwise is just absurd.

Very very rare big deals are done in January so I highly doubt we’ll entertain any offers until next summer.

You'd hope by then we’d be stronger, but I don’t hold out much hope the way we’ve snatched defect from jaws of victory last few years lol.

Only thing I can hope is if we stay as solid as we’ve been and add Kane’s goals then we’ll be soidly winning games and keeping clean sheets.

At least Nuno has got them all fitter and is a lot better tactically than the dinosaur was.

It's mental, kaveh looks distraught hahaa

And yet, I thought he looked the happiest of the lot compared to the others. In fairness Wedderburn is a Man City fan so he was going to find it hard to not show his disappointment.

So much back tracking from their reporters on twitter now. I bet Michael Bridge is loving it in that studio!

Nuno Espírito Santo on #thfc striker Harry Kane: "Fantastic news. I think since Harry joined us he has been working so this is what we value. His attitude in training has been excellent. It is finished."

If Nuno is happy then so am i.

I think the club have carried themselves with great dignity throughout this difficult saga and it sets a precedent that we won’t buckle to player or media pressure or be bullied by the likes of the money clubs.

I hope we now take steps to avoid a repeat in the future, whether that be with a new contract with release clause or proactive scouting/purchasing of an adequate replacement well in advance.

No we drop someone because he's much better than Bergwijn and/or Lucas.

Easy for me. If he shows himself sharp and in good condition on Thursday I'll start him on Sunday. No way he should sit on the bench if fit and ready so we can play Steven Bergwijn.

Maybe don't change your messaging.

If he wasn't fit, would he have played on Sunday? You said originally to bench him for matches to teach him a lesson.

My concern is we have not done enough (to date) in the transfer window to have a better season than last year and get Kane to want to stay longer than he is forced to.

Well that's pretty funny stuff. Not sure it's the best outcome for us as a team, I think we'll be putting up with speculation about him forever more until he leaves but hopefully he'll be professional and score a bucket load in the meantime.

I'll never view him the same and I certainly wouldn't be singing 'he's one of our own to him' but I'll applaud every goal he contributes in our colours same as every other player.
