Why are those 2 (Darmesh and Kaveh) the chosen 2 to talk about big footballing events like this? Who the flying fuck are they to say if it’s a win for Spurs or not. Of course it’s a win for us. Darmesh is such an arrogant prick and Kaveh pauses like Ross Geller half the time he talks. They often swap stances on Kane too, it’s just so all over the place.

It’s so annoying listening to them talking about it but if the alternative are D-rate ex footballers like O’Hara or Agbonlafuckingwhore then I guess we’re fucked anyway. Get an ex Spurs player and an ex City player to have it out and get someone with a hint of intelligence to referee it. Whether it’s in the studio discussing it or in the boxing ring fucking each other up.
You all moan about them yet continue to watch it, why? Turn it off and you will feel so much better. Trust me.

Man some of you are sour. You take all the Spurs shit so seriously, do you get so angry at characters from EastEnders? He is just a character in an entertainment show after all.

Not sure if you're bizarrely suggesting it's all scripted, or just patronising people. Very odd thing to say, either way.

I go back to what I posted last night. His time was running out. We are lucky that the England games are coming up. I bet he was under pressure from Southgate to get this sorted before Sunday.
Or we put the deadline on city.

I don't know either way, but just saying.

Harry ows you or this club nothing, he is a player who has earned every penny of his wages since making his debut for this club. He wants professional success, dont we all. We dont actually KNOW the ins and outs of who said what to whom re unwritten agreements and holiday plans and have built a narrative that paints Tottenham's best player in 30+ years as the villain. Truth is without him this season we will be fighting for 6-9th place in the league. With him we have a shot at aiming higher. His staying is great news and he will always be one of our greatest players no matter where his career takes him in the next few seasons and you can guarantee he will be trying to bag as many goals as possible again this season as he has for the past 6 or 7 years. He is one of our own and we need to support him as such for one more season.
It's not sports entertainment mate. They're actual human beings kicking a ball driven by real reasons to do things. It's not scripted (though some FIFA gamers may tell you otherwise).

Just think about what scenario he could "easily" go in Jan?
A City team under pressure from strengthened Utd and Chelsea teams, and realising by January a world class CF could be the very thing that gives them the edge over their rivals? It’s definitely possible. He’s now being represented by a top class PR company: anyone brushing off the use of ‘summer’ rather than ‘season’ in his post is ignoring that possibility playing out. This isn’t bed wetting- I’m not clasping my rosary beads and whimpering at the altar- but the wording is significant and indicates he’s not prepared to openly and unequivocally commit for a full season

Why would you completely forgive? I certainly won't. Doesn't mean you can't support him while he's here.
I guess it depends what happens next.
If he signs new contract and plays for us - we're good
If he completes his current contract and leaves for free - we're good
If he's sold next year like every other player - we're good
If we are to have the same shit next year - oh fuck you Harry

We will see, but I can't see Levy accepting under 200mio in Jan.

Nice to see that the City fans, who were slagging us off and calling us fickle for turning on Kane while holding him against his will, have now taken to slagging him off for not doing more to force the move.

That’s all reasonable, but I just don’t see Levy selling him mid-season.

I still have no idea where they came from? Were they journo's from papers? Or just built up a large following on twitter like Romano?

Like you said though, what the hell do they know about anything. That Darmesh proved to the world that he hasn't an inkling on how contracts/transfers work with his comments last week.

I just wish people would call these idiots out more often

I'm saying football is just entertainment, it doesn't really matter at the end of the day and is just there to provide escapism so why do people get so angry about it? Take England at the Euros, great fun and ride to the final, England lost and a few weeks later nobody is thinking about it and have moved on. My point was that i cannot understand why there are so many comments about letting him sit on the bench to know his place or people not willing to cheer for him again. Seems a bit daft to me, but then i've never understood the mindset of people that boo and shout negative things at our own players.

Whilst this is true, the probability of the man who holds the cards here, ie Levy, allowing him to go in a January window when replacements will be even harder and more expensive to get, is pretty remote.

Anyone who's ever seen an ex-footballer try and read from a script will know the pain of this truth.

Even Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara, who read from scripts most days and have done Soccer Saturday for decades, turn into wooden robots when Ted Lasso asks them to simply do their normal jobs with an actor sat next to them

And you’re probably right. But this will almost certainly come back in the January window- his post is too deliberately crafted for that not to be something he’d like to happen
He is not overly bright imo. Lucky he is a great footballer.

And as mentioned earlier, it is not really up to him when he leaves.
