  • Harry Kane has announced that he will be remaining with Tottenham Hotspur this summer and football.london understands that a January exit is not on the cards.
  • football.london understands that both Kane and his representatives held positive talks with Spurs' managing director Fabio Paratici and also new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo in the weeks since his return.
  • Now Kane is back in the fold and despite some fears from the fans over the wording of his statement with the use of the word "summer", those close to the striker have told football.london that he will be going nowhere in the January transfer window.
  • Kane is understood to have been taken aback by the support he got on Sunday afternoon from the travelling Tottenham fans, who sung his name and had his back as he was jeered and mocked by the Wolves supporters when he came on for the final 15 minutes of the match.

This part is PR BS but It also intrigues me. I do wonder if he had expected to get the full Campbell treatment?

It’s takes a big man to make an apology whichever way it comes, well done harry proud of you respect you even more now , his one of our own ??????

It does indeed.

Wonder if you'll do the same because, you know, that cancer in the club called Levy. He's the only reason the player you're calling "one of our own" is still at the club.

Can't wait to see you praising him up in the ENIC thread.

There is a fair amount of utter tripe posted on Spurs Community - that I won't deny. I probably contribute to that from time to time.

But Bluemoon is a cesspit of utter nonsense from a bunch of new money, arrogant tosspots who cannot acknowledge a perspective that is outside their tiny little blood money bubble.

Complete disregard for reality.

I still don't now if Kane stays or goes - but thank fuck i'll never have to be associated with that miserable club and its fans.
They are an utter stain on football, and I would shed not one tear if they dissolved overnight. In fact, I'd be dancing on the club's grave.

Great credit to the fans who went to Molineux at the weekend and in their support for HK set a positive tone in terms of bringing this to a welcome conclusion.
I have always been pro keeping Harry, but I was so happy with the response he got.

Well done to those travelling fans.

That second point annoys me. Why did he not come back when he was due and at least speak face to face with Paratici and Nuno then?

Anyway what's done is done and now we know he is here this season. Thankfully we still won the first 2 league games so it hasn't hurt us too much.

I was fully in support of fans booing him on Sunday. But fair play to those who were there and were far more mature than I was being about it. They put the team first by getting behind him on the day.

What's that got to do with the price of rice?

Guessing is one thing repeatedly posting "He's gone" and that other posters who weren't sure "were in denial" is something else altogether.
On the evidence presented, it seemed odds on he was off. Now its been clarified he stays. This not about supporters and trashing opinions or THFC making amends. Its about Kane and what happens next. We all deserve an explanation and an apology from the HK camp.

DL: "Hi Harry, what can I do for you?"
HK: "Charlie says I should get a new contract to reflect my value to the club"
DL: "I agree, that seems like a good idea"
HK: "Great. What are we talking"
DL: "How about settling for £2,000 per week for every £1m another club is willing to pay for you?"
HK: "Hmm"

Well let’s hope for a solid season. If City go for Haaland next summer then the clubs that could afford him are down to pretty much no one.

??? Well done to those travelling fans that showed your support. Looks like you played your part.

I was very critical of H probably because I felt hurt by the way he seemex to be going about getting his move.

Now he's said he's committed to staying for the immediate future / next season. Let's draw a line under it and all go back to pulling in the same direction. COYS
