On the evidence presented, it seemed odds on he was off. Now its been clarified he stays. This not about supporters and trashing opinions or THFC making amends. Its about Kane and what happens next. We all deserve an explanation and an apology from the HK camp.
Not sure what HK should apologise for.

He has the right as a professional sports person to do best for him.

He never really caused a fuss, as far as I know.

Happy to be corrected if I am wrong.

On one hand I'm pleased he's staying.

But I have a prediction: I think we'll end up regretting not getting c. £125m for him

I take no happiness in that statement, I just think that might end up being the case

Hopefully it works out well for everyone though - let's see

It does indeed.

Wonder if you'll do the same because, you know, that cancer in the club called Levy. He's the only reason the player you're calling "one of our own" is still at the club.

Can't wait to see you praising him up in the ENIC thread.
Fuck. Me

You got it bad :D

The only reason he's still here is because nobody stumped up the money. Lets not pretend otherwise.

Levy stuck to his guns for sure, but it's hardly a stance that hasn't been made many times by clubs in the past

I think with high level replacements off the market keeping arguably the best forward in the world was preferable to the money. If it was a case of that we got that money and Vlahovic and Martinez were brought in then definitely. But with those two off the table and the super elite forwards out of our range and no one else being of massive appeal I think it’s correct not to cash in.

Vega going in hard on Kane on SSN*. To be fair to him, he’s been the same throughout the saga on Twitter and not changed his stance on Kane just because he’s staying. He’s always been better off the pitch for us than on.

*A porno I definitely wouldn’t want to watch.

** Probably.

Do you wonder if a move next summer is even possible. He would be 29 and i doubt any top team will spend £100m on a 29 year old when there are other optinos such as haaland out there. Fingers crossed this was his one chance to move and now its over for good!

You know I respect your opinion, but who makes us better for £125 million than Kane does?

Look at what we could get, especially in terms of strikers for that money and who is proven in premier league.

I imagine there’ll be some negotiating on an exit clause/fee now for the future now that a move this summer is off the table. Haaland is going to cost an absolute bomb in wages and agents fees even if his transfer fee is reasonable as well so he won’t be an option for everyone.

He has a right as a professional to act correctly. Hes antics were a direct message to leave.

He put two fingers up to everyone demonstrating his right to do whats best for him.

Some form of apologise should be done to appease suporters he upset

Why has he said “ summer” when I first read it I thought that was a bit odd. Then obviously the more you think about it leaves the door open for January, so why do that when you’ve just said you’re 100% committed for the season. Either it’s incredibly C***ish and planned to leave the door open for January or just sheer stupidity to not realise how that would be interpreted.

The best apology will be getting back to bagging goals and assists and celebrating with his teammates and the crowd. That’ll be better than any written apology his PR team draft up.

Ok fair enough, but did he actually do anything wrong?

All I know is he possibly came back to training a week late, and even that is being discounted by him.

As I said, I am happy to be corrected.

And, I am stoked he is staying.

He’s been a naughty boy and he knows that ,we all know it and the club knows it. We have no other choice other than to move on and get him back in the team scoring goals start winning things.
