Do you wonder if a move next summer is even possible. He would be 29 and i doubt any top team will spend £100m on a 29 year old when there are other optinos such as haaland out there. Fingers crossed this was his one chance to move and now its over for good!
Haaland will be available for £75m (a bargain in today's market), but only one of Man Utd / Man City / PSG / Barca / Real / Bayern can sign him. That leaves the others to fight over Kane / take punts on less proven players.

Haaland will only be cheap because his contract is running out, so him going for below "market value" wouldn't impact on the value of Kane or anyone else.

Juventus were willing to pay £105m for a 35-year-old Ronaldo, so I don't see why a 29-year-old Kane should be cheaper. I think it's fair to assume that Kane will be a world-class CF for several years to come, plus he's already shown he can adapt his game if required (which would further increase his longevity at the top level).

Hopefully Kane will see out his career with us though!

Fuck. Me

You got it bad :D

The only reason he's still here is because nobody stumped up the money. Lets not pretend otherwise.

Levy stuck to his guns for sure, but it's hardly a stance that hasn't been made many times by clubs in the past
Don't worry, there will be plenty of criticism to come for Levy if/when we don't win anything this season...should have cashed in on Kane and rebuilt etc.

Why are those 2 (Darmesh and Kaveh) the chosen 2 to talk about big footballing events like this? Who the flying fuck are they to say if it’s a win for Spurs or not. Of course it’s a win for us. Darmesh is such an arrogant prick and Kaveh pauses like Ross Geller half the time he talks. They often swap stances on Kane too, it’s just so all over the place.

It’s so annoying listening to them talking about it but if the alternative are D-rate ex footballers like O’Hara or Agbonlafuckingwhore then I guess we’re fucked anyway. Get an ex Spurs player and an ex City player to have it out and get someone with a hint of intelligence to referee it. Whether it’s in the studio discussing it or in the boxing ring fucking each other up.

Here in the states and had never seen those 2 until someone posted a clip. As an American, our command of the English language is limited. Correct me if i'm wrong but these two appear to be the genetic result of when a bellend mates with a wanker.

I know it's hard to accept him back after an almost divorce. Ive got mixed feelings but have to accept him because we have no choice. Better to embrace him again instead of telling him to fuck off. Much better for the team to get behind the guy.

Why has he said “ summer” when I first read it I thought that was a bit odd. Then obviously the more you think about it leaves the door open for January, so why do that when you’ve just said you’re 100% committed for the season. Either it’s incredibly C***ish and planned to leave the door open for January or just sheer stupidity to not realise how that would be interpreted.
Based on how he and his agent have acted recently, I definitely wouldn't rule out "sheer stupidity". :ROFLMAO:

I'm waiting for Neville to go full guns blazing on Kane to United next season.

It starts today.

It started on MNF two days ago. I’m not certain Levy sells domestically though but Man U would be my bet.

I had my final look on blue moon. The bitterness is delicious. The obvious quotes of him bottling the move, didn’t want him anyway, not good enough etc. They are blaming everyone else apart from their own club for not coming up with the money.

Alasdair Gold:

  • Harry Kane has announced that he will be remaining with Tottenham Hotspur this summer and football.london understands that a January exit is not on the cards.
  • football.london understands that both Kane and his representatives held positive talks with Spurs' managing director Fabio Paratici and also new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo in the weeks since his return.
  • Now Kane is back in the fold and despite some fears from the fans over the wording of his statement with the use of the word "summer", those close to the striker have told football.london that he will be going nowhere in the January transfer window.
  • Kane is understood to have been taken aback by the support he got on Sunday afternoon from the travelling Tottenham fans, who sung his name and had his back as he was jeered and mocked by the Wolves supporters when he came on for the final 15 minutes of the match.

I really wouldn’t be surprised if that is true. I was surprised by the welcome he got.

Wasn’t it revealed that Laurent Blanc was a massive racist? Wasn’t he the guy who, when managing the French national team, was filmed saying “we need to have fewer black players in the national team” ??

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but if true maybe Aurier hated him and for some reason couldn’t spill those particular beans before the secret recording came out..?

Edit: he was in a meeting in which the participants, himself included, were discussing capping the quota of black and Arab players entering the academies at youth level at 30%. Pretty fucking stupid and racist if you ask me!

He was an advocate for putting a quota on Black and Arab players in the french youth team set ups

I didn't think it was right he got the "He's one of our own"
But it was support for our player at a time the opposition fans were getting at him so fair play to those who acted better than I would have

From an article at the time:
"The French football coach, Laurent Blanc, has been cleared of wrongdoing in the row over secret quotas to limit the number of black and north African-origin players on the national team. But the French sports minister, Chantal Jouanno, said comments made in a meeting of football officials to discuss quotas was "borderline tending toward racist". "

So yes, a bit racist, but not Racist. Best sweep the whole thing under the carpet.

He was an advocate for it, anyway ......... the part i highlighted from your post, SERIOUSLY????? :banghead::banghead:
