Bayern - "I swear Mr Levy this is our final offer, you will not get another one. Now answer before our deadline or we will move on!"

Levy - "I reject your offer"

Bayern - "Ok, ok..we will go higher once more but we swear this time it is the final, final offer!"
you’ve highlighted, perfectly, the nonsense around these faux ‘deadlines’.

If there’s any chance your bluff will be called, which it does more often than not, it immediately puts you on the back foot.

Just so we’re crystal clear, I know it’s frustrating when ITKs allude to stuff “behind the scenes” that’s not made public but that’s no excuse for questioning them.

I’m confident that what’s been posted on here recently was all good information and backed up from multiple sources. As far as everyone was concerned, the club made it clear what it’d take to get Kane and Bayern made that offer (and had the financials in place to complete on the terms we wanted).

I don’t think any of us know what’s changed in the last 48 hours, whether it’s Harry’s camp, something to do with Levy’s visit to Florida or just a failure to get the replacement(s) in but the info that was correct doesn’t seem like it is any more.

That doesn’t mean it’s time to start interrogating everyone and we’ll remain strict on that.

i certainly wasn’t interrogating herc, I just thought I had missed something that had been posted. Apologies if my post was one of the ones you’re alluding to. 👍🏼

The issue I have with Skechers is as comfortable as they are (and they are very, very comfortable whenever I’ve tried some on) they just look fuuuuuucking cigar fish.
I use to read Slam magazine when I was in my teens Sketchers adverts galore. Third biggest shoe co in the States by revenue

Weird if it was something definite that happened over the weekend you wouldn’t think Bayern would bid again?

Anyone that thinks we'd be better off without Kane is off their head.

Also not buying this "He doesn't fit Anges system" Kane is THAT good he will fit any system. Friendly or not he still scored 4 against a not terrible team.

I get the money argument but with Kane firing 30 goals we can potentially make half of that back by getting CL.

If he stays and we have a really good season he'll likely sign a new deal aswell.

No one thinks we’re better off without him some of us hate the thought of him playing for another Pl team more than getting one more season out of him.

although personally, I’ve jumped over the fence and I am fully on board the lets gamble it all this season could be a bloody fun season

Yep. They well clumpy. If he came in to school in Skechers he’d get the piss ripped out of him. They not cool (apparently).

Did anyone think we'd be better off without him? I thought most people just felt we were going to be without him come what may.

I think the system thing probably has some truth but it's more out of possession than in possession. The forward players closing down as a team to cut off passing lanes.
