I think this is the bottom line. If he isn't going to sign even that short term contract with a release clause then we simply have to sell him. It's crap but it is what it is. I really hope he changes his mind and signs though. Feck knows how this ends up.

Just felt maybe with addition of Maddison and squad looks best to me it has in quite a few years (aside from centre backs, with VDV at least incoming) and us looking like he’ll be provided with shitloads of service next season…
