And here is the big lie.. turning football fans into finance cheerleaders.
Not at all mate just seeing the bigger picture of squad building based on the current circumstances and likelihood of Kane leaving on a free vs getting £100mil for him now.

Id rather we kept him and rebuilt around him but if you’re tell me right now there is a 90%+ chance he will leave on a free next summer likely to a PL rival then for sporting purposes I’d that the £100mil+ and let Ange continue to rebuild a new chapter.

If there is a say 50:50 chance that if Kane stays he will sign a new deal then I’d keep him every single day of the week no matter what bid right now.

Either way we shouldn’t ever have got into this position, we should’ve built a team around him, made him club captain sooner, built on what poch built and kept him happy and kept us competing for trophies on all fronts, then we’d not be in this position and that’s all down to one man.

However we are where we are so we now need to make the best decisions for both the short term but also the longer term under a new ‘project’ with Ange.

Huge next few days.

Missed the last few hours as my first son has just been born 😊

I hope as I am reading through I see some info that means my boy may see Kane in a spurs shirt soon.
Congratulations to you and the family sir! Just don’t name him after any current players as it’ll save an awful lot of aggravation in later years, the amount of dads on here with kids called Harry is scary!🤣

Definitely is. All my Spurs mates feel the opposite -- keep Kane, hope the season ahead is good enough to change his mind. Even if we sell, Bayern could still sell him to a PL rival next season anyway. And who gives a toss about 100m quid? Put on a few more Beyonce gigs or NFL games, or sell the stadium naming rights.

Respect to you and others who disagree, though. We all want the same, success for Tottenham, just have different ideas about how best to go about it.
Fair enough although saying Bayern could sell him to a PL side next season is a bit of a strange point as hardly very likely at all especially compared to the chances of him going to a PL side if he runs his contract down.

Other than that fair play on your thoughts. As I’ve said I and I don’t think ANY Spurs fans ‘Want’ him to go we ALL ‘WANT’ him to stay forever it’s just looking at the current circumstances overall I can see why we might accept a bid from Bayern for say £100m+ but my overall point has been lost, it’s not what I feel or want, I was simply responding to someone who said Levy would get a ton of heat if we sold him now for £100m+ to Bayern compared to if he walked on a free next summer possibly to a PL rival and I just don’t think that is true.

Let’s see.

I hope he stays, he scores 50 goals under Ange and we win the treble, he breaks Shearers record and captains us to all of this. 😅🤷‍♂️🙏🤞

Massive congrats mate! Hope mum and the little guy are doing well! I've got 2 boys aged 8 and 5.....they keep you on your toes to say the least but they inspire me every day and are awesome /bananas in equal measure. And they both rabbit on about Spurs despite the oldest one having mild autism and the youngest one still getting his head round football, while dribbling a ball round me in the garden like Hoddle/Gazza in their prime. You'll be a great Dad!

Oh and a couple of things that have been brought to my attention, so to be fair to some of you...........

Start sending PM's to ITK on here and there won't be a discussion about it or a warning you'll be banned straight away. From the whole of SC. For good. Our ITK's will let us know if someone tries that shit.

Start downrating or negatively rating ITK or those who whore it, for whatever reason and you'll probably lose your access. The reasons for this have been covered a number of times.

We're not going to compromise on this, there is no patience for it. So it's up to you and also, the snide stuff that's been creeping into this thread over the post few days can stop.

A sentimental point myself, but the ovation he got when being subbed off will no doubt play a small part in any decision made.

He'll never be loved at any other club or appreciated like we do.
I watched Hot Ones, a YouTube show where celebrities are challenged to try all the hottest pepper sauces, and H was the guest. The host asked him about when he first broke into the first team and started playing and scoring consistently, he said that what he’ll always remember is when the fans started signing “he’s one of our own, he’s one of our own. As he started talking about it his voice softened, and you could feel how much it meant to him all these years later (the show was from June this year, I believe), it was really cool to see and hear it. He has Spurs in his blood, and loves us fans. Very cool interview, if you haven’t seen it look it up.
