I wouldn't over think it, just a lack of fitness/form. He was certainly completely ineffectual today but lets give him the benefit as no-one behind him played any better.

He might still be a bit injured? Everyone can have a bad game, that happens, but i was a bit disappointed with Kanes lack of involvement today. It seemed like he wasn’t running as much as he used to, both in the press and in him getting open. He seemed to stand around or walk around a lot today. Could be that he still isn’t completely fit. Just seemed like a very weird game today, like worse than just a “bad day”. Hopefully he can get back in it against United in the FA Cup.
I think all the events of this week got to him. It’s probably the first time in his career that he’s faced anything like the goings of this week. Might have just scrambled his head a bit and rocked his confidence. Just needs to bag a couple against Brighton to put it all behind him.

I agree with those saying he’s out of form, he hasn’t been himself for a while. But he is of such qulity that when out of form he still manages to influence games and get “tap ins”. Saying that, he is so far from being match fit at the moment, yes I know he got the assist today but apart from that we were essentially playing with 10 man for much of the game. He needs to give up the ghost of top goal scorer because he ain’t going to get it. I am just worrried he is going to burn out completely by the end of the World Cup and be fucked for the first half of the season.
We were doing fine without him too. Free flowing as a team. This is not meant as an attack on Kane though. But lets hope he puts on his scoring boots in our next game.

Certainly. But Poch should see what we are seeing and should have taken precautions. We have done well while he’s been out. So, no need to rush him back. I worry it could be doing more damage than good right now. I think he should be on the bench against Brighton. Try to keep him rested for the semifinal.
Thing is... I don’t mind Kane being rusty or outta touch. But when he plays as he does today, with little confidence and nominal effort, that is concerning as it effects the whole team. Poch needs to work with him this week and carefully monitor his ability to function at 100%. Can’t have any passengers right now.
He will pull through, but might need a couple more weeks.

I think it's pretty clear what your game is bud, and you're not playing it 'good enough'.
Kane has gone from being the most highly praised player for his attitude and work ethic by not just spurs fans but by all media in general. To now being a laughing stock on social media and a living meme. I truly hope him and the team don’t live to regret the whole debacle.

This post means kane is the laughing stock among all football fans .. That's it .. rather than blabbering swearing on his daughter about the goal, he should have focused what mattered most
