Surely, given the circus the FA have turned the England friendly next week into, Kane will either be given permission to stay at home or pick up a ‘groin strain’ on Saturday? Absolutely no point in him playing in this game. Same applies to Dele, Dier and Winks as well.

Kane will be in the squad as we have the Croatia game as well. Dier won’t be. Dele and winks likely will be.

Poch needs to learn the fergie trick, pull them all out. Minor strains all round.

Standing in the front row on Saturday, got to see the speed of the game up close. He took a ball down and volleyed in so quickly, was so impressive. Unreal player

Thats why he plays. No matter how shit he looks (and actually I think his role seems to be evolving although he does look slightly knackered) he must play as he will always score.

He got his goals tonight which are priceless, but he looked absolutely knackered and is clearly slightly off the pace. If we let him go next week with England then I think some serious questions need to be asked of our management.

As Jimmy Greaves once said, “it’s a funny old game”. Thought he was very poor tonight ( although he was also kicked to shit), but then he goes and gets two goals.

Have to admit though his constant dropping and seemingly unwillingness to get in the box is driving me a bit mad. Hopefully he just needs a few weeks with his feet up and it’s not a permanent thing. The thought he is actually having to change his game at the age of 25 is a bit mad.

Even took a throw in tonigh wtf get in and around the bloody box u nutter!!

Scored his 22nd goal in Europe to go =2nd with Martin Chivers on our all time European goalscoring list

Hopefully he goes past Jermain Defoe's 23 goals v Milan and then smashes the record in Barcelona

We really are very lucky to be witnessing H rewrite our history

Yeah this is it really. Watching him and his game at the moment is just a bit weird.

If it’s him instigating it I don’t understand why, if it’s Poch again I don’t get it and if it’s a necessary adjustment because he’s burnt out at 25 then that is quite sad.

As I said above, hopefully it’s a short term thing.

In 15 games he has 10 goals and 1 assist, not the bad for having an "off season"
Here's the thing with Harry, and I think this blurs people's memory/perception, he always has had runs of games where he is 'below par' yet still scores. He will then have a run of games where he looks great and scores goals. It's why he is so special and I think we need to remember that he's always blown hot and cold in terms of performances.

He's had 8 shots in both the last two games. That's a good sign. As long as he's getting shots off, he will inevitably score goals. The patch where he only got off 1-2 shots a game was concerning.

Definitely. You can't moan with a return of 10 goals in 15 games...and yet

I thought he was rubbish last night. I know he scored twice, but I thought Kane was terrible. You can't give him all that much credit for the second goal either.

He's a microcosm of us this year - playing badly generally, with occasional good bursts, but by and large picking up points/goals

I really hope he/we click soon - it's painful to watch at times. I'll take the result though. Winks was good too.

But Harry seems periodically quite ponderous. He was taking too long to get his shots away. They defended quite well admittedly but until he scored I thought he was really bad.

Ultimately, it shows the measure of the side that we've been so bad, for so long, and are still winning. As I was for most of last season (post March) - I feel like I'm taking a deep breath and waiting/hoping we'll click...and it's painful as hell

Best CL goals per game ratio(10 games or more) EVER

Best PL goals per game ratio 100+ goals EVER

Let that sink in. Basically most prolific player that’s ever played in CL or PL.

Some may say it’s only 14CL games but that will be 16 minimum. Which is basically 3 seasons.
