Generally getting a bit concerned about him now. At least last season during his poor start he was taking plenty of shots but was either being unlucky or snatching at his chances, which told you that the lad was still confident enough that he'd score.

On current form he's not even taking shots, which is concerning. I think the Euro's performances may be having an effect on him too. He cut a hell of a lot of flack for taking shots all over the pitch from England fans and if he's aware of that it may have created doubt in his mind whenever he's lining up a shot.

It's up to Poch now to try and help him regain his confidence. In the meantime we really need Janssen to get up and running because we need someone to take that burden off of him and help him relax again.

Just let him chill on the bench for a bit. Janssen looks perfectly capable to play alone uptop and also needs to break his duck. Give Kane time out of the limelight let him recover, bring him on for last 10/15 mins if needs be, he might be able to pick up a goal then.

Any goal he scores before November means he's already bettering his previous seasons
Scored in September and October last season!

Kinda wished he'd picked up a minor injury and missed the Euro's - take him out of the firing line that most of these young English players have to face just because they earn more money than the average Joe.

Not concerned at all. Proven that he can survve a goal drought; you don't score 20+ goals/season consecutively if you dont mean business. Besides Kane is known for his OCD to improve and he hasn't gotten injured. Only been 3 games anyway.

I know Kane maybe actually tired but has anyone not noticed that he always looks tired, I think it's just magnified by that fact that he's not scoring goals. We had this last year when he went through his dry spell but there wasn't any difference when he actually started scoring.

The whole team worked hard today. International teams have to improvise and work hard. Improvisation doesn't come easy but they aren't well-oiled machines like club teams are, so what else can they do? Therefore the pattern of today's game shouldn't be a surprise. Kane will get stick but hey, a player has, or challenges for, the ball for a few minutes each game. The rest of the time they are still playing and being effective though - it just doesn't get caught on camera. If Kane really had a bad game today, then Skrtel wouldn't have kicked him and stamped on him.

Honestly, Kane is very lucky not to be nursing a broken leg right now. Skertl stamped down hard on Kane's prone leg, nowhere near the ball. And then smiled all the way off the pitch. He's always been a fucking thug, and players like that shouldn't even be allowed on the pitch.

Yea but last season he didnt have a break as we only had one striker

This is also a player who hasnt had a summer off since 2014 and started something like 50 PL games in a row for us so people saying he looks tired for a while may have a point even if he looks tired all the time

Just because he is tired doesnt mean he cant still play well and score.

Also the bollocks about him starting a season poorly is just as bad. Half of the reason for this is he is injured at the start of the season (2014, 2013, 2012) or that he doesnt have a preseason (2016, 2015, 2013, 2012)

This is a guy who has had one full preseason and summer off in the last 5 years

Skertl was everything that was wrong with Liverpool's defence. I'm actually annoyed that he's no longer there (I believe he was moved on) as he's good value for us in terms of being a Liverpool liability.

Kane needs to perhaps start on the bench against Stoke. Give VJ a start up front and bring on Harry in need. If we're a couple (hope hope) of goals to the good then Harry need not come on at all and enjoy the time off.

What's different from last season is that he was playing very well from the start, and could for fine margins had three goals and three assists in the first three games alone. It was always a matter of when those fine margins would fall his way. Gotta say, he's looking a bit more sluggish these days.

Absolutely disagree.
I've got him down as first scorer in the Predictor competition
with an early penalty!
Won't happen anyway.

We should let him rest seriously

Exactly, but he needs more.

To repeat (not to you Spurz, I agree), he has an under developed palate (hence the speech issue and constant open mouth in games), this means he very likely has a lower resting breathing volume, so recovers slower and is more prone to acidosis (not being efficient in cycling lactic acid in particular).

You have to question the nutritional/medical science team at Spurs when Kane, Dier, Alli and Eriksen are all so out of sorts, they did not get the required recovery, Harry is compound to last summer also. They are being failed IMO.

This leads to major disease over the longer term if not addressed, hence my questioning of Pochettino's logeivity if this issue is not given world class focus.

The press have got a campaign going to get Harry out of the England team. People wonder why England never win anything! We need to get Harry back to Spurs and let him forget about England. If they cannot recognise or utilise true class that is their problem. They may not want him but we most certainly do and need him. He will soon be back to his best and scoring goals. At that point he would have every justification to tell England and the press to **** off and get on with it with Theo Walcott and company. However, he has too much class to sink to that level and as always will continue to act like the true gentleman he is.
