is there anything you’d like to share with the class, mate?
I'm not ready.
is there anything you’d like to share with the class, mate?
New found respect for him, not quite the petulant clown I thought he was.
Im just amazed it got brought up in a liverpool press conference 2 days after they qualified for the CL semi finals. Is that important enough to be brought up? I really dont think so.
Why not...?It's been a hot topic all week and the media will make sure they will capitalise on the potential clicks
It’s weird this has got so much coverage. It’s not like it’s been a quiet week with nothing eventful happening!
Its the fact that it is a 'hot topic' is whats pathetic.
Disputed Harry Kane goal ‘no issue’ for Tottenham's Christian Eriksen due to his ‘uncompromising team focus’, says agent
Christian Eriksen’s agent has expressed his surprise at Harry Kane’s desperation to claim last week’s disputed goal at Stoke City.
Tottenham's second in their 2-1 win was initially awarded to Eriksen, who had scored the first.
Yet, Kane insisted the Dane’s free-kick had flicked his shoulder before going in, and he was awarded the goal after Tottenham took the unusual step of appealing to the Premier League.
Kane has been praised and mocked in equal measure on social media and Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed yesterday that the striker has been hurt by some of the reaction.
Martin Schoots, who has represented the Dane since 2008, when he was a youth player at Odense BK in his homeland, told Standard Sport: “It’s a remarkable situation, although we shouldn’t make it bigger than it is. But it’s true that in 35 years in football I’ve never seen anything like this before.
Kane did not expect ridicule over Tottenham goal, admits Pochettino
“Fortunately, Christian is a very intelligent guy and he will not make an issue of it. He was voted player of the year by two supporters’ groups last season, the second time in his Tottenham career that this has happened. These trophies are incredibly important for Christian.
“I am pretty sure the fans voted for him not only for his world-class skills, but also because of his work ethic, modesty and uncompromising team focus.
“For Christian, there is only the team, always and everywhere, standing together, shoulder to shoulder.
“Anyone in football knows that this exemplary mentality is a tremendous gift and quality. It has got him to where he is at the age of 26, and it will push him to become even better. It is great to see that the fans love him for that.”
It was the same with Dele-gate... and yet absolutely nothing was made of Mane diving all over the place in the CL and putting a few naughty tackles in without punishment etc.
Even the police allowing Liverpool fans a free shot at the City bus seems to have been brushed aside after one day of headlines.
Oh well, guess it shows people care.
I'm sure your boy Salah will still win it, calm down calm down
Any spurs fan who thinks Kane is lying about this is a fucking moron.
Would kane prefer? To lose 5-4 against City - scoring all 4 or draw 0-0?
Don't think they did, the City bus was re-routed due to an incident somewhere, and as such had to take the exact same route into Anfield as the the Liverpool bus, which the scousers were all lining the streets for. That was something that was bothering me. They announcing/confirming the route of the bus was very strange.
