What shit news to wake up to on a Sunday.

If he goes to united it would make no sense, so much for wanting to win big honours. They'll definitely pay an obscene amount though.

As for city he won't play week in week out there, pep loves to rotate and kane like to play all the time.

As much as we'll all get on levy's back for this, Kane hasn't done himself any favours too.

Campbell, Carrick, Berbatov, Bale, Modric, Walker

Best add Kane to the list of players that didn’t feel Enic could match their ambition.
It really doesn't make sense because apart Walker the rest left when obviously the club and their ambition were much different.

If its say £120m thats 2 decent players 1 average player
If it's £150m that's 3 decent players a ST CM CB
Is it? Just because we have some money doesn’t mean we buy good players, in fact history shows our recent big money signings haven’t been much to write home about. So there is little to celebrate in any Kane money, highly likely we utterly waste it.

Last time we sold Elvis we fkin bought S club 7. This time I hope we go for quality not quantity

Exactly this. Scatter gun will not work now. We need a new spine to the team and the players need to be world class.

We are actually 4 or 5 players too heavy in our squad anyway, and should look to offload another 8 players in addition to Kane and replace with 4 top drawer ones.

Meltdown incoming.

On a personal level I dont think of ITKs as gospel although respect what they have to say - if Kane is sold the meltdown really is about Levy moreso than Kane. No one can blame Kane - you simply cannot blame ambition - we failed.

I just dropped 1525 quid for next season and we dont know who the manager is and if Kane will stay or not and where our ambitions sit - people slate others for stuff but it is so uncertain all this. It is what it is.

It is a far cry from those good old days under Poch where i felt we were going somewhere and even if it got stale we were gonna have that rebuild but two years later - not sure where we are at

Very true. JJ on twitter said this was because of Baldini having free reign.

JJ seems to rate Hitchen and reckons he's been held back by levy so let's see what happens with this

If he goes to Utd then that really leaves a nasty taste

They have scored 7 more goals than spurs and conceeded the same. Those are the margins between a good season and a bad season in the epl. For Kane to go there, when tbh the issue at Utd is their defence not attack, I think its a bit laughable to say he'll definitely win trophies. They're definitely in a better position to compete, but if this is all about trophies then they seem pointless.

Chelsea, Liverpool and City will all be stronger than Utd next year if they waste a window on Kane/Sancho again.

He has a 3 year contract, he's in no position to be dictating a move on his own terms, hopefully Levy sticks to a ridiculous valuation of at least £150mill up front, and realises he has to invest or most likely losing Kane, the squad and the fans just when he needs them most.

And it took for our title challenge to collapse completely was for them to enquire about the availability of Kane?

I know it's very much tin foil hat territory, but there was a weird drop off from everyone around that time - for all we know he might have wanted to go in Jan.

I can't wait to see what Steve "I hate transfer windows" Hitchen comes up with when the shackles come off.

United will see him as the new Cantona, whereas at City he'd be just another cog in a mashine.

As I said ages ago, if Kane goes it's absolutely essential that we have a proven DOF in place and a manger he can work with to minimise the impact. Get Galtier and Campos in who've shown they work well together and we might come out of it OK.

Will they really spend 200m+ on sancho and Kane?

Doubt they’d go for Sancho if got Kane. They’d likely have Rashford Kane Greenwood front three with Fernandes behind. Kane dropping off and picking out runs in behind would bring out best of Rashford and Greenwood too.
People can go on about how Utd aren’t far ahead of us, put Kane in their side and he could easily thrust them into being title contenders.
