This is the England captain acting this way, its no wonder u guys cant win a major competition with that kind of mentality in the players. He should be stripped of the captaincy by Southgate as an example to the rest of the squad that unprofessionalism is not acceptable in an England player

Disappointing if true. My concern is that we are only a couple of weeks away from the start of the season and we have so many uncertainties with reinforcements still not arriving and our only striker seemingly throwing his toys out of the pram.

I keep hearing people say put yourself in Kanes shoes.

Put yourself in tottenhams shoes, he has 3 years on a very lucrative contract. He took no paycut when tottenhams finances were impinged due to covid. He expected his contract to be honoured.

It works both ways.

The only way he gets out is if City pay the price we expect. That isn't unreasonable.

I will judge him on performances. If he doesn't play, then it can only tarnish his reputation.

I don't care if he trains or not.

I expect Levy to extract the maximum for a Homegrown, club grown, top England captain striker at his peak.

Citeh can't plead poverty.

p.s Guardiola is a joke of a manager, can't do it without financial doping.

this, would like to see him do it with a everton where he doesn't get the financial backing! chequebok manager, almost like putting a cheat code in.

The club and Kane will hope the fans turn and say "fuck him sell him if he doesn't want to be here" I must say even though it was their intention I am starting to think the same.

Regardless of fee selling him now whilst we are rebuilding and out of major European competitions might be the best for us long term. Rip the plaster off and reset.

For Fabio and Nuno. Trying to build something special long term and implementing a new mentality with Kane the elephant in the room might cause more harm than we think.

Breaking the top 4 will be an almost impossible task this year even with Kane. But concede 10/15 less with a better defence and we could achieve 5th/6th still without him.

His actions are showing such a disrespectful attitude towards the club and the fans. The fact that he's doing it to join 'Cheat Mode FC' makes it even worse. Be a man, accept that the club has a valuation and if its not met then get on with it and and show a bit of class.

I expected a lot better of him to be honest but then should we expect anything from the modern day footballer!?

What is particularly worrying for us that we are unlikely to have an out and out striker in the team for the game against the oil club.

Kane needs a break physically after a very long season. I can’t imagine he will be paid for refusing to work. If he is out til the window closes and gets an unpaid break to recuperate, that is honestly not too bad for us. It’s not like he will refuse to play til January.
