what? Seriously - how is hoping fans don’t sing his name not healthy?

I noticed you’ve been through doh or spam rating posts critical of Kane. Are you Charlie Kane doing some guerilla PR?
A grown man dreaming about Harry Kane not celebrating a goal and posting about it on a forum like it’s actually happened and being angry about it? Yeah that’s normal!

I’ve come round to the idea that Harry did not act with the clubs best interest when it comes to this holiday, but this has been the first season he’s ever done this. Maybe the whole not winning a trophy and the euro finals got to him and that he felt he really needed time away from the game to get his head straight. The fact he’s never done this before I’m willing to forgive him and forget. I’m more interested to see how he develops from here. Bringing the pitchforks out is way over the top but that’s my opinion.

And the club instantly replaced him with Romero.

Hopefully Sissoko likes it next :sneaky:
Loyalty works both ways and this does irk me how people are quick to want sissoko, Dier etc out. I want them upgraded because I want us to progress as a team, but for every Kane there’s a Rose, Ozil etc and I don’t get people publicly pleading for them to leave. It can be done in a respectful way

We created an award for Sissoko a couple seasons back to recognise his importance at that time, no wonder there is no loyalty by players, fans are just as bad

Get a grip mate, you’re love for Kane is clouding your judgement. It’s a football message board and someone posting about a dream was actually quite amusing. Telling them to get professional help is a totally inappropriate reaction. As is spam rating people’s posts discussing the Kane situation in the Kane thread (which is for - yeah you guessed it - posting about Harry Kane).

instead of dishing out negative ratings and posting critical insults, why don’t you post your opinion on Kane and his behaviour instead?

UPDATE - Glad to see yet another 'doh' rating from @Blockbuster. I think he's my stalker now LOL

Apologies if this was in the 50 or so pages I skipped yesterday but...

Given that the club has not released any public statements apart from Nuno saying Kane's issue is internal and Kane's statement says absolutely nothing about bids or transfers, can somebody who knows the current rules better than me say if Guardiola's comments constitute tapping up ?

Saying that they want a player of ours with 3 years left on his contract and we refuse to sell

They don't have permission to speak to the player but have publicly told him they want to sign him

Meanwhile Paratici is talking to Vlahovic's agents with any form of agreement.

I think Pep is a prized bellend, however it would be hypocrisy to think we don't do this as well.

Some people are so easily won over by a basic pr statement. He could score 40 goals this season and I'm still done with him.
It’s individual choice, you’re entitled to your opinion but you can’t call people out based on how they feel. In my opinion life is too short to hold grudges. He still has some serious back pedalling to do, but I’m not going to completely write him off just yet. Especially when him leaving benefits everyone but Spurs ??

So I’m guessing you’ve never made a mistake in your life. Absolutely ridiculous thing to say.

Mistakes are totally fine but i think this situation is beyond just mistakes. It isnt like Kane has acted a fool. Its an indication of how Kane feels and what he wants. He clearly wants to leave so its pretty much difficult to support a guy who you know cant wait to leave. TGhis is precisely why i dont do th ewhole supporting a player... players come players go.

We don’t exactly have a world class squad so if Kane goes we invest the money improving, Kane stays we have a world class striker.

I appreciate he has done the wrong thing to try and force a move in this way but take the emotion out these are the facts and we move on.

Booing and hounding him out the club will not help the club now or in the future

I wish it was a basic pr statement. It was a cynical attempt to blame fans, straight from the abusive narcissists' handbook.

Bale got his move in the end to a club abroad. We saw how the fans treated him over there and a lot of time passed.
Right so after 8 years have gone by we are going to forget that this happened. So what’s the point in getting upset about it now?
May as well get behind Kane if he is playing for us this season then. Doesn’t benefit us if we start abusing/booing our best player.

It's not though.

Hes in the public eye, he's idolised by many, he's a role model.

None of us non celebrities are in the same scenario. Its fine to make mistakes, it human nature but you can't expect everything to be rosy when you behave like he has.

I feel so angry this morning. I dreamt last night Kane scored the winner for us against City next weekend. He then refused to celebrate. You know, how players normally do against clubs they used to play for.
But he completely refused to celebrate scoring for us. Not only that, but he gestured to the City fans in the corner that he was sorry he'd scored. I then woke up.

Anyway, after my rant a couple of days ago and not related to my dream, I'm still so fucked off with him. I hope the players hold him to account.

I also hope that there's not thousands singing 'he's one of our own' next week. He'll feel vindicated in his actions if that happens.

I'm not much of a betting man, but I'd say there's absolutely no chance of that happening.

There are mistakes and then there are Mistakes
It's a mistake to drink red wine with fish and it's a Mistake to invade Moscow in the winter.

Was there a massive backlash from fans when Bale didn’t turn up to training? We welcomed him back with open arms...
Whats the difference here?

That deal was always going to be done at our price. The potential buying club here have offered just about half of our asking price - and not in cash.

People are getting upset because he had a model professional reputation. He went against the club and took an extra week off. He is staying. It's okay to be upset and angry now, because an academy product that was a proper professional has ruined his reputation. His statement was disingenuous, saying the fans' comments hurt him? His actions have hurt the club. He hadn't as of Wednesday night spoken to Nuno. That's our vice captain and that's our England captain.

People were upset with Bale during that summer if I remember correctly. But time passed and we saw how he was treated by Madrid, Zidane and the fans despite putting up good numbers and scoring to win them trophies.
