Way down on his lists of priorities of course, but he also risks never having a ‘home’ after his playing career too. Somewhere he will always be welcomed back, revered etc. He won’t get that at City and it’s looking increasingly unlikely with us too.

Didn't we have that with Modric? Out of the team until he really knew he wasn't going to Chelsea and then he went straight in and scored against Liverpool.
Yep and can safely say, he scored one of the best goals I have ever seen live that day, one of the others being his goal against Bolton at the Reebok, which I was also at ?

if profs info is correct and he is staying, lets just hope the team accept him back ( not that they should ) but would be catastrophic if they dont.

mate your talking about park football not professionals they all know given the same opps most of them would walk at a pay rise if and I personally doubt that he will be with us come the 1st Sept the rest of the players and the manager would welcome him back with open arms
what you on about, he’s gonna have to address the dressing room if he is still with us (I’m expectingto go as well though).

whilst the manager welcome him, I imagine it’ll be pretty frosty with his team mateson the training ground

Some of you guys willing to take less money now just to get Kane out the door are literally falling right into Pep's hands. It's LITERALLY why all this shit has gone on. Kane causes a stir not turning up when he should have and being unavailable today and all of a sudden we are willing to cut his price because we are so pissed off with him?

Is that not the whole point of what him and his brother has tried doing all along? Driving the price down?

Nah. Fuck those tactics, price stays the same. City want one of the best strikers in the world who has 3 years left on his contract for £100m? Also England captain and all the other stats? Get him to kick up a fuss a bit, hope the fans hate him enough to put the pressure on Levy to sell on the cheap? Come on guys, literally playing into Citys hands with some of your comments.

If they dont want to pay he stays, grovels a bit and cracks on.

We played very well today but to suggest we're better off without Kane is silly. We might not like it, but he's the best striker in this league and most leagues..

literally ;)

If there's anyone that I trust to figure out a way to reintegrate him into the squad and keep the harmony, it's probably Nuno. He seems an extremely calming and supportive presence, and it's his atmosphere and togetherness that he's created, so I'm confident he won't want to put it at risk. I'd expect to see him away from the main group for as long as it takes, if he's to stay.

There will be no issues there IMO.

Fellow professionals will understand the situation from a ‘professional’ point of view and will always be more ‘forgiving’ than fans

I was wondering too whether Levy's stance on this may have relaxed a little after seeing today's performance and the obvious team spirit being created by Nuno. If he's happy enough with how Fabio has covered a Kane exit with replacements then Harry's required fee may have dropped by quite a bit in order to avoid any more squad disruption.
No need to embarrass anyone, Kane just leaves for the famous 'undisclosed fee' and the speculation and accompanying unrest it must be causing is ended.
Would I take £20m less in order to hopefully see a lot more of what was displayed on the pitch today ? Personally speaking I have to say yes.

This exactly.

What people seem to be hinged on is Kane’s stats. Yes they are amazing, but what have we won as a team during that time? The ‘Harry Kane team’ has won nothing despite his goals. Why?

Yesterday re-emphasised something I’ve seen for a couple of years now, our play is too dependant on Kane when he plays and if he doesn’t put the effort in, the team suffers. How many times have we heard managers say ‘I told them to keep pressing’……pressing has to start at the front, when was the last time we saw Kane press for 90 minutes? If he puts half a shift in and drifts around marking air, what good is that?

I’m not dismissing his quality, far from it, but Spurs lost their DNA during his shift, his lack of easy pass that could have meant a tap in for Son, his ‘dry periods’, his lack of performances in finals.

No, it’s not as simple as that but Kane leaving will not be the end of Tottenham Hotspur, we will still score goals, the team can play great football and we may end up winning something without him.

After all the crap he’s pulled I’d take him back in a heartbeat, if I thought he’d adapt to this new system. But I don’t. Yesterday’s front three were electric, pressed the whole game, broke up the City attack before it got going. Add Kane in there and that falls apart IMO, especially if he’s pissed off about not getting a move. How motivated will he be?

So for that reason, I want him gone for whatever we can get for him and I am hoping Levy and Paratici will start to see that is the case also. Now is the time, get rid and buy a couple of players that want to wear the shirt.

Say what your want but the man has been outstanding for Spurs the play has been dependent on him because he is a world class player. Lost their DNA what was that then? He gave us that by scoring so many goals we wouldn't have got to the finals without scoring so many goals Lack of any easy pass did you notice goals he set up last season and the amount of stick he takes playing as a lone striker of course you build a side around him.

I’m a little surprised that after the win yesterday without him, nobody has posted the Arsenal pirate “who’s name is Harry Kane” GIF!

He will have to apologise to the other players that's just s as given, Neville said the other day Rooney had to for a similar stunt. Don't see how that's even a debate

Today's Mirror, now I thought Hugo was club captain or is Nuno confused.

"It's pretty much the same in today's Mirror, with Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo insisting that his skipper Harry Kane is going nowhere following the win over Manchester City"

Kane cannot go for an undisclosed fee.

It needs to be a world record transfer fee or we seriously lose face.

I'm OK to sell him if it is done quickly and we can reinvest the money. We have become a bit of a Harry Kane team and today we saw a glimpse of life without him.

It was one game though, a couple of bad results and we all go into meltdown. Why did we sell Kane, Dier is shit, Sanchez is shit, Tanganga ain't good enough, skipp isn't premier league level, Bergwijn is shit, dele prefers fashion and so on.

IF he stays for me he loses all privileges, no vice captaincies(never want him to lead this team) stripped of being first choice on pens (he doesn’t deserve the goal bonus) I’d rather see Son On them. And definitely no free kicks.

No direct quotes, could be it's Mirror being confused?

For the record if anyone is a one man team it’s City, they look absolutely fruitless without kDB! Only when he came on I started to panic but he wasn’t fit.

If this isn't done already then I imagine the deadline is fast approaching.

Think it's better for all if he goes to be honest. Hope City offer what we want soon.

Kane is the best penalty taker in the squad. You don't take him off them and lose the team goals.
