I’m very happy for him to stay and think people are far to blasé about him leaving. I get it, a bit of me wants him to fuck off too but he’s by far our best player and genuinely one of the best in the world. Most agree that if he stays he’s professional enough to keep his head down and do what he does best which is help us win games.

We always do the same shit every year, people hang off every overly optimistic word every ITK says and assume we’re getting X player and then double down on that assumption by assuming X player is going to be amazing when we all know, that in the short term at least, we can’t replace what Harry brings to the team.

If anyone knows what's going on it's ex Swindon, Sheffield Utd, and Middlesbrough superstar Jan Aage Fjortoft. This is BIG news.

He knows a great deal about German football. If he has heard any rumblings about Lewandowski or Haaland, it would be reasonable to think it could have implications for Kane, too.

In the real world there are a lot of spiteful people. Getting Kane and leaving us in the lurch would be something I'm sure they would brag about and be smug about behind the scenes. So would their fans.
True, but it would be a byproduct of a situation and not what’s driving it. They are not deliberately waiting till the last minute with the sole purpose of messing with us and, as a result, not having Kane available for selection in their upcoming fixtures.

Normally pretty close to the Bundesliga. Seeing that there has been discussions with Bayern about ndombele and tolisso… maybe about Kane as well…

Maybe he’s just having a laugh who knows…

We are only in the conversation for top four if he stays.

Sorry, if that happens, it's not Citeh you should be annoyed with.

What I'm expecting now is no news today and then we'll hear something tomorrow night, like City have found they had some cash stashed in one of their drums and have come to the table with a real offer.

His involvement tomorrow will be interesting.

I was fully for him leaving and that was my preferred outcome but at this stage of the window and with what looks like a potential inability to get in the quality of players we need I would want him to stay now. It was different when Vlahovic and Martinez were looking like possible replacements. My worry if he stays though is still not getting enough around him. Even before this City fiasco I said there would almost be little point in keeping Kane if the quality around him didn't improve and for me that's still the case really. I think it will just be a season of more of the same (cup failures and a Europa League finish) if we don't add more starting 11 players.

I'm generally concerned about the club's deep reluctance to buy quality strikers, which has been an ongoing problem for years and often results in our getting bitten on the arse. It would be common sense to bring someone in now considering the Kane situation, and even if he stays now he is 100% gone in a year, so it would save us scrabbling around then. Either way it looks like we are highly likely to be left short at some point.

Yeah I agree which is why it boils my piss that City are dicking us about with their offers. To us he’s worth a potential top 4 spot (compared to us almost certainly not getting it without him) and to City his worth to them is pretty much guaranteeing them the title.
