Not sure why people are het up about Kane getting a new contract, it's pretty standard fare for a player who's just had a big bid for them turned down. It won't end up being 400k but he'll get a pay bump to keep him happy and shut Charlie up.
£400K seems like an insane amount to pay anyone, and I'm no fan of obscene football wages. However, I get his point. If we're going to value him at world record levels, which benefit us, then surely those crazy figures need to be reflected in what he's paid? We can't have it both ways.

He's going to score 30 this year and Man City lose the title to whomever (hopefully us!) by 1 point. So it is written, so it shall be done.

Watching SSN about 10mins ago and talking about Ronaldo to City because 'as we all know the Kane deal never went through for various reasons.'
Er.. no. It never went through for 1 reason and 1 reason only. City wouldn't pay what we value him at.
Christ I hate that fuckin Sky Sports. Wankers.

Love Jeff though ? :ROFLMAO:

Couldn't watch tonight's game. Were his interactions with the other players, the fans, the manager as you'd expect if he was fully committed to the team? Or is there some awkwardness, distance etc?

Err not quite. The other reason is because Daniel Levy & the THFC Board didn't want to sell our best player!! Not answering the phone is an effective strategy.

Well, for what it's worth, I felt he put the effort in tonight and there was no sign of negativity from him or any of the players. I believe he will be giving as much as he can as long as he can.

Well played H!
