I've thought for several years that Bayern is the best club for him to go to and replace Lewagoalski BUT, I still think that is 2-3 years away. I dont see another club in the UK being able to offer him the role he would want other than Chelsea and Utd. Chelsea i dont think he would do out of loyalty to Spurs, Utd i could see if they continue to improve and show signs of challenging again. For me he will play this season and next at Spurs, see how close he is to Shearer, claim all the Spurs records and then make a decision if he is in touching distance of shearer then it will be between us and Utd as to who is more likely to win something. If the record looks a step too far he may go to germany or spain or even italy (long shot) to a club that is pretty nailed on to win the league and challenge for CL for a final swansong. I dont really care if we get £100m or £0 for him when he leaves (which he has to at some point) as his and Sonnys end at Spurs will be irreplaceable and be a massive change in the direction of the club. No amount of money will replace either of them, they are a once in a generation legendary partnership for tottenham and we are a big enough club to suffer the lost potential revenue so i dont think the fans need to worry about that element.

A near perfect number 9 performance. Was probably the best player on the pitch, but such is his level it won’t be talked about. Elite touches, timing, and team play. He’s taking on players more now which is scary.

2nd half he was much more in the role of a traditional 9 which made a difference ( even more so after the change of formation after Richarlison got injured).

1st half I thought he was too often forced wider into the channels.

Yeah he was excellent today. Has scored plenty of goals this season but not looked particularly good. Today, his touch was superb. He was even getting past players with the ball at his feet. You don’t often see that, even during peak Kane years.

He looks quicker, and more agile this season. I'm wondering if Antonio's fitness regime has helped him get sharper.

Hopefully we beat Sporting and he can sit out the Marseille game. Id consider resting him in the LC too.

Let him go hard in the PL

that 1 min 30 seconds rest he got will be invaluable later in the season.

seriously though, he's looking as sharp and as fit as he has for a few years now.

The BBC say he's just scored in five successive games for the first time in his career

The England captain has also found the net in five successive top-flight games for the first time in his career.

Haaland this, Haaland that, Haaland blah blah blah. The media won’t stop going on about him.

It’s the best thing to happen to Harry (and to us) this season. We know what he’s like, it will be annoying him. He’ll want to prove he’s still the best. It’s going to drive him on big time. It can only be good for us. He’s never scored 9 league goals at this point in the season before for a start.

Honestly Harry needs somebody in his ear telling him he cant or wont do something everyday, guy is a monster when people don't back him or doubt him.

Somebody tell him how shit his freekicks are, will turn into Juninho

Was going to put this in the Arse hats thread but it's funny how obsessed they are about every little thing he does.

Surely it's a natural reaction when you're fouled to go down with a bit of a shout.

I'm absolutely fascinated by how much humans hate people who are doing well or do great things. It's called Tall Poppy Syndrome I think but in the UK it seems like a cornerstone of our culture.

It used to really bother me how much shit Kane and Son got, now I realise that it's a compliment. I notice the same in comedy, all the comedians seem to have disdain for Gervais and they can square it in their mind any way they like but it's obvious it's because he's achieved what he has that drives it.

I'm sure I hear Arsenal screams every time I watch them?

Anyways, I can't believe I'll be alive to see Greaves' record being not only broken, but you would think smashed since we're only in October.
