Not sure if this has been mentioned but he's now scored in more PL games than Haaland has this season. 15 against 14.

Not really relevant, but sort of shows how those 4 hat-tricks have padded Haaland's stats somewhat.

He's been in a bit of a dry spell as of late.

Being really optimistic here but I’ve noticed there is a lot more camera crews and things falling him around from our social media team lately I wonder if they are filming for his contract or a documentary to go alongside it

You’d hope so.

Biggest frustration for me around spurs at moment is we could lose him because we haven’t matched his ambitions.

You have a world class player here who would stay forever if we only recruited properly and logically so be challenging.

We also had several seasons without even having cover for him, which we not thankfully have in abundance with Richarlison, Danjula and Son all able to play centrally if needed.

The appointment of Conte was last chance saloon with him and it seems likely Conte won’t extend so concern is Harry now won’t.

If he doesn’t sign id personally still keep him and let him go on a free, but certain people who shall remain nameless maybe don’t think like that lol.

Only a couple of weeks ago pundits were asking how many would Kane score in this City team. Now they're talking about how Haaland gets no service and doesn't fit their system

I’ve been critical of Kane in the past, but I like his comments here. No matter how it plays out on the summer there are still things to accomplish this year - and I think we have the players to do that, if we can stay healthy.

I like what Spurs social media are doing today - letting people request to see a specific # goal on Twitter. Steady flow of Kane goals makes any timeline better.

Absolutely, we should be talking about this record and these other names.
Don't know about that, it's a completely different game now. They aren't comparable at all imo. All super talented but those players from the 40's-70's wouldn't get close to those numbers now, and the likes of Shearer, Rooney and Kane would score a lot more back then. They are all super talented but it's like comparing Jim Hines who held the 100m World record for 14 years back in the 60's, with Usain Bolt who is half a second faster. It's just not comparable imo.

True - it's all relative. What we can say without a shadow of a doubt is that Harry is a great of his time.

He can't be allowed to leave. Keep Conte, keep Kane. Make it impossible for him to leave because things are looking too good here.

It really is impossible to compare generations so I do feel its right to mention the Premier League separately. The pitches were worse back in the day and the ball was heavy. Sports science didn't really exist then either. Players are a different breed now but also that means it's harder to play against players now. I don't think anyone is scoring the number of league goals Allen got in this day and age. Even Messi in his prime would have struggled in this league for those numbers. What makes players like Greaves and Kane special is they would adapt so Greaves would adapt today and Kane would adapt back then. How blessed we are to have had them both at this great club. No one is better, both are special.

I loved the pause right after the goal to allow the atmosphere from the crowd to sink in.

The best commentators know when to shut up. I loved his content about Harry being on top of the perch as well... Clearly a reference to the cockerel at the top of the stadium.
