I really fear for us when he goes. With all the surgery needed in other parts of the pitch, the raft of loanees returning who we won't be able to shift, a search for a new manager & potentially DoF.......the last thing we need is to lose our best player.
Can you imagine where we'd be without him this season?! We'd be mid-table.
And even with £100m fee, I have absolutely zero faith in that being spent well.

And another spurs "legend" that leaves and goes on to become known as a man Utd legend! I hope that does not happen!

Wasn't too long ago our best players would've turned their nose up at United. They've not been a draw for 10 years and we've managed to let ourselves fall behind them again.

Alot will depend not just on Kane's stance if he doubles down on not signing a new contract extension but on how much prospective clubs like Utd are willing to part with.

£80-£100m you absolutely have to take the money if he's totally committed to going but anything significantly less then you have to weigh up the benefit of having Kane in the team for an extra season.

I can see United paying it. He guarantees goals and fills a massive hole in their squad

Yeah, pretty much this. If he really wants to go and we dig our heels in and insist he stays, it will probably only be for the season. Then if he's unsettled that creates a cloud over the whole club, like before. We had a lot to gain by refusing to sell him last time, this time will be different.

I am just sad that Kane will leave more so than any other player as an adult. It is thoroughly depressing and there is nobody I can get angry at regarding it. Even if we use the money to get in good replacement it will just not be as enjoyable as watching Harry Kane play for Spurs.

No one can fault him for leaving, looking back feel sorry for him to having not gotten the city move. We have wasted him, gonna be a midtable side with out him and the lower side of midtable. Would put in a clause in his contract to be the highest paid player in prem to keep him.

Sorry I just don’t buy that argument..I am massive Kane supporter. He has been paid millions over his career and done his job brilliantly but we have wasted him? Sorry this club made him who he is!

Everyone is focussing on trophies when discussing Kane's future. Coming back to Glen's departure..he didn't go to Monaco for trophies. He said he felt he needed a new challenge.

It’s quite understandable that a player would want something different after so long with one club and this may be playing into Kane's calculations.
Hod had won trophies.

I watched him do it.

I think it’s time. Harry will be more upset than all of us as we are his boyhood club. It probably hurts him to see how far the club has fallen, and that he’s approaching 30 and still not won a major trophy in his career. He goes with my blessing and I hope he wins a trophy even if it is for manure. The next few years will be in a full rebuild and won’t be challenging for a while. We are so far off. We need to do what arsenal did.

why has everyone written him off to them? Bit premature eh?

Looks like Levy has one more managerial appointment and window to turn this around. While very few have faith, including me, I’m going to be positive for as long as I can…

How many times have we heard that though. I think its inevitable Harry goes this summer (and to United).

There lies the problem. Us fans can’t escape the never ending torture, but players like Kane, will/should do their best to.

All Harry has to say is:

“I love Spurs with all my heart but the team (and fans) are not getting the investment into the team that they deserve. I’m 30 years old now and I would love nothing more than to win a trophy with Spurs but I’m afraid the investment is not there and time is running out for me. So it is with a very heavy heart that I have to say I’m leaving to try to win things.”

Not one fan would be able to argue with that and then Levy wouldn’t last much longer either.

Can we have a chat about this man? A serious discussion, about how amazing he is.

That’s 20 goals in only 26 matches. If it weren’t for that doped up blonde freak in Manchester he’d be running away with POTY. World class season and utterly brilliant in the final third yet again. The pass to Richy for the penalty was top drawer.
