I never understand this questioning of his commitment. Bar the Florida Man escapade alone, he's been a model professional for literally his entire career since he was a child.
I am not questioning his commitment, but just the effect of two pretty big events that may affect how he approaches games, and to be honest i couldn't really blame him.

i will not question Kanes profesionalism, but if you go in to the last year of your contract, i do think there will be some fear in the back of your mind that you can get a serious injury that can end your career.

If the Club have talked to Kane and it is clear he will leave next summer, please just sell to Bayern.

Not sure I agree with this

assuming you’ve played team sports? The best teams are those of unity and spirit - a bond - whatever the level or standard - 99% of the times winning teams are always together.
I just don’t see a positive if all season (and make no mistake it will be constant all season) Kane leaving is being talked about constantly. It will overshadow and being a cloud over the whole club.
I just don’t think it can be a positive

am I saying I want Kane to leave - absolutely not, but if he’s off next season for free then do the benefits of having him for one more season really outweigh the negatives it will bring - I’m really not sure they will?
I think you have to ask him if there's any chance at all of him signing a deal. If there's any chance he is undecided still, then of course, stay. It's worth the risk

As much as I hate thinking it - there's a part if me that thinks If he's adamantly no - do you bring in a new striker now, with a new manager, and a new way of working. It almost makes sense to have a clean break of it now, and have the main pieces of the new era in place all at the same time.

He aint leaving England ,one year with us then decision time ,no guarantee of Champions League with Bayern so why leave for second rate German medals in our eyes!!!

Can’t see it. Not because I’m in denial. It’s illogical. Not from the club’s perspective. But from his. Uproot his family to go win trophies in Germany. And maybe has a 20% chance of winning the CL? Plus potentially jeopardizes being PL top scorer? None of it adds up. But hey ho, my opinion is based on tons of assumptions about what he wants and values. Maybe he fancies the move and has his reasons.

But from the outside looking in, it’s frickin’ weird.

This could be huge fanciful thinking, but could the Kanes be stringing Bayern along to buy some time and light a fire under Levy for a bumper contract with clauses?

Buying time - to see if Ange's style of football is worth sticking around for?

Thinking out loud etc.

My hope would be for him to stay this year, captain the team to win the league Cup, the FA Cup, and finish top 4, then him to sign a year extension. Everybody’s happy, he’s a legend, then he can go to Madrid or somewhere.

Blows my mind if as Herc suggested we sell and he actually moves his family to Germany and potentially sacrifices the chance to be the all-time PL goalscorer 🤯

My old man commuted Monday to Friday to Germany for over a decade...started off doing 10 days there, 4 days home and then just mid-week there and weekends in England. Ok he wasn't a pro footballer....but he also wasn't earning £300k+ a week. I'd imagine if Kane went, he can sort some kind of regular private jet to/from for him and his family...I still don't buy that he'd want to go there though

Paul Merson talking sense again. What's happening to him ?? 😄

"He scored 30 league goals last season for Tottenham. And who's playing with him at Spurs? He has to do it all himself virtually. If he stays at Spurs next season with James Maddison now there, I dread to think how many goals he will get."

"I cannot for the life of me see Kane join Bayern Munich. Why would you get to within 47 goals of Alan Shearer's Premier League scoring record and then go to Bayern to help them win the Bundesliga for the 97th time on the trot? Why would you go? What for?"
He is right
But next week he will be saying “but what has he won”

I just don’t believe a team like BM would waste time trying to sign a player unless they knew for sure he’d go to them. If there is truth to the numerous reports of their interest then Kane must be happy to go there.

Don't forget who his agent is.

It's very possible Charlie could have been telling them that Harry would come, without properly consulting with him first.

I hadn't considered the Big Time Charlie masterplan angle. Surely he wouldn't line up another buyer without the readies again?

Pretty sure when he talked to City, Kane was willing to go there.

Charlie has one client - and the Bayern links are pretty prominent in the news. If Harry would not consider Bayern, I am sure Bayern would have sussed that out by now.

Now - Kane may not kick up a fuss, but he has got Levy by the balls even without kicking up a fuss.

As I said yesterday, I have absolutely zero on this situation so I honestly don't know what's going on. As you say, they've probably been encouraged by a certain clown that Kane would be interested in joining them. Maybe he feels it's a guarantee of a title. Maybe he will take a couple of years away and then look to return. It just baffles me that he would potentially sacrifice the top PL goalscorer record. But I guess only he knows what's important to him. I imagine it would take upwards of £80m for us to accept however. And if we do sell him, it's a terrible time when looking for a replacement with no CL etc. I guess we would have to sell the vision and hope to attract someone with huge potential like Ferguson. Who knows what will happen!

He basically has one shot to win the Ballon d'Or - go win CL and the golden boot with Bayern, have a big summer with England in the Euros.

Its risky, but it shows ambition, rather than sitting out Europe this year in the hopes of getting back in next season.

If he's going to the Bundesliga hoping to win a Ballon d'Or, he might want to have a look at where the Ballon d'Ors go before he signs anything...

Is it controversial to say that Prem all time top scorer trumps Ballon d'Or? One of those awards lasts a year, the other will likely stand for decades.
