There were a few times today when I thought Kane was getting into bad habits of dropping deep to get the ball, or trying to play out side the box - but look at the results of Kane playing the way Ange wants - up top:

Buckets of goals available to him when he trusts the players to get him the ball in front of the goal.

Yep, the link up was excellent. And his second was a great example of what I described previously, how just a bit of time and coaching can work wonders with great players. Kane dropped, Son had moved to go central, Maddison was occupying Son’s space out on the left. Kane moves back centrally and takes advantage of a glorious cross. If only Kane ends up staying, it could be glorious. Maddison looks like the difference.

Spurs media team trying to find a way to edit Harry Kane out of our social media posts but he keeps scoring goals

Way I see it
- Kane wants trophies, preferably with Spurs but running out of time and patience
- Would go this Summer, however Bayern were nowhere near top of his list being at least the 3rd/4th rated league and league titles being pretty meaningless. However they are a big club and the only big club in for him really that will guarantee silverware. Personal terms discussed is basic with any club. Think he's about 60/40 leaning towards going,
- If Madrid, Barca or City had wanted him this year he would of gone by now, Bayern is a bit meh to him and if he didn't get it he wouldn't cry into his beer about it.
- Knows Levy won't sell to premier league rival so not even bothering with that. Also knows that only guarantee of trophies in EPL is City and that ship has sailed
- Levy knows he's doomed if he sells and doomed if he doesn't and Kane joins EPL rival for free next year. No way I see him joining Chelsea, will be Utd if anyone.
- If Bayern were nailed on or even that close no way he plays today, so definitely not that close. Businessmen like Levy absolutely do not take 100m gambles
- People need to understand 100m for Kane is not necessarily 100m profit, 100m could be the diff between UCL and Europa league, could Kane tip that balance? Absolutely. This is about more than a figure
- Personally apart from City I don't really see the others - Chelsea, Liverpool, Utd, Newcastle being guaranteed top 4, nothing they've done really stands out for me in this transfer market
- Don't believe incoming transfers are dependent on any Kane money, like it or not Levy is tight and meticulous with our cash, extra money will not make him spend more. If we have 100M to spend he will go to 100M whether we have Kane money or not

So many moving parts and I still have no idea what will happen and I'm pretty sure nor does anyone else so open that salt cellar and keep pouring

Agree with literally every point you’ve made.

Of course he was great today and scored 4 goals but what really makes me want him to stay now was that front 4. It was so much fun to watch! When you’ve got a front 4 like that most games you’ll only need a couple of them to be on their game and you’ll be alright. The addition of Maddison will help that too, he was making everything tick beautifully today. He’ll link in combinations with Kane and Kulusevski and he’ll see Son’s runs in behind and set him on his way like he very nearly did several times today. If Kane stays I can see him and Maddison being consistently phenomenal and the two of them together will help Son and Kulusevski get back to a more consistent high level too. Of course we could maybe sign a top striker as a replacement but that front 4 today was absolutely chef’s kiss

Good points apart from I think Kane would be a bit more bothered and interested in going to Bayern than you’re making out.

Alot has been said about whether Kane could even work in Ange's system, despite only being a friendly against a weakened Shakhtar team, think it's safe to say Kane will have no issues scoring 30 goals this season, it wouldn't be a problem.

I wonder whether todays game will play a part in the decision? Had he been anonymous for most of the game and not scored, probably would have made such decision slightly easier?

Scoring 4 however and seeing Kane, Maddison, Kulu linking up well might make the decision more difficult.

Everyone that said Kane wouldn't fit the system will be very quickly proved wrong, Kane's THAT good he can fit any system, he'd easily rival Haaland next season for the golden boot IMO. Think he could get 35 goals.
It’s never been about whether he can score goals in the system. It’s been about can he press enough.

Had Kane just played the game and not said anything, I would still be inclined to say he is going to be sold.
But given , Kane tweet is kind of forward looking...may be there's a big chance he stays now.

If he does stay, I hope he signs the new deal. It would be painful to go through this again next summer
What was Kane’s tweet. Sorry been busy all day with household stuff so not seen the game or any posts from earning the day.

Possibly, they are probably in Top 5 clubs globally but Madrid, Barca, City they are not, no way would they be top of his list. He also knows the German League is not the Premiership or La Liga and without him they will almost certainly win trophies. Even the so called pundits agree its a bit of a strange choice. The Guaranteed trophies at Bayern will give him the Silverware but probably not be quite what he wanted and not enough to shut up any critics, hence it's more complicated than the City episode we had.

Never understood the idea that the fact that he doesn't quite have the legs that he used to is enough reason to consider for a second shipping out the best finisher in world football because he isn't the best at something off of the ball. He's never once been a player that was a monster at pressing.

If we kept Kane and Ange can't find a way to make his way of football work with Harry Kane, then we never should have hired him. But that's not the case, because he can and would. Ange is about maintaining 65-70% possession, suffocating teams, playing exciting football and scoring goals. If Harry Kane can't press at 100% at 30+, then someone else (Maddison) can do that for him while he bags another 30 goals.
